The real deal is lovely. I have a mini that's very reminiscent of an aftershave in the 70's. I don't know which one though, only that it's a scent I recognise.
Sotd is Ffern Summer. Anyone else keeping a careful eye on this virus? We were living in HK with a little one during Sars and this has brought it all back. I'm wondering why the Who haven't upped the severity of the warning yet?
I guess DH won't be travelling so much and the kids friends may have to stay in the UK for the holidays. I guess it will affect you too @yoikes?

I’m keeping an eye on the virus. I saw two women in M&S in face masks the other day, which was really startling. We have a lot of Chinese students here, so seeing people cycling or even in the streets in masks is fairly common, but never indoors! As for me, I have never really shaken the Christmas virus, and actually went to the doctor today. Got antibiotics and a nasal spray, but the waiting room was jam packed with properly sickly people, so I might be worse off! Plus there was a family with two very “lively” young children, and one of them whacked me with a sword, which was a surprise. (In fairness the dad took the kids out to sit in the car shortly after the sword hitting!)

Waited for over an hour for the dr.
He's given ds more antibiotics:(

Have been fighting something off myself and have consequently lost my perfume mojo (apart from the Amalfi one from the Zara x Jo Malone range which is a good, simple citrus basic).

Have tried to up my game tonight with random squirts of Terre d'Hermes Vetiver Intense and 80s Coco. TdH has an alarming early stage which briefly approaches cat pee in pitch before calming down to a more manageable herbal frequency (it's a very lemony vetiver). And Coco's floral notes are catching my attention more than usual tonight.

I DABT and blind bought two things that were cheap in superdrug but score because both are nice and right up my street big nice big white florals, i bought Stella McCartneys Pop Bluebell and then Kenzo JEU d'AMOUR. i mean it WAS my birthday this month so birthday treats, right??

My feuilles de tabac arrived yesterday afternoon. It's nice. Possibly a bit 'thin'. It might need to be layered with a small amount of something more beefy. At first sniff it lacks oomph. I'll update later.

Any suggestions for a perfume suitable for persuading businesses to order our corporate catering?? I'll be going round them all to pitch in a few weeks and thinking a subtle gourmand might make them hungry! Nothing too sweet though as it's more bacon butties than cakes!
