Wearing Apercu EDP today and I'm in Oak Moss heaven. We got home late last night after three days away seeing family and friends and I'm happy to be home. Netflixing and chilling today is the plan as well as coercing ds1 to do some GCSE revision.

I've just read ' The scent of you ' - a book recommended by the recent Xmas blog of the perfume society . A light hearted romance n perfume book.
Now I'm going to watch the White Queen series . Is it any good? Any other good Amazon/Netflix series apart from Outlander? I tried the Witcher but couldn't take to it.

I love parks and rec, community, 30 rock...

If you like historical programmes then you should enjoy white queen. And max irons is dreamy

My plan is simply to keep my head above water, try and regain a tiny bit of fitness, and spend as much time with my dad as possible.

SOTD was floral street wild vanilla orchid from a sample set. Warm, creamy, but with a nice hint of floral darkness.

teta check out some of the Israeli dramas on Netflix - they're silly but v good. Modern love on Amazon is also worth a watch.

A quick bit of advice - I had some lovely Gucci flora (glorious gardenia) bought as a Christmas present. I love it, but it seems to fade incredibly quickly ? Do I just use more or am I doing something wrong ?!?

I'm also on a new year health kick. How dull.

I was given Daisy for Christmas, which I think I'm far too old for, but is actually quite nice!

I was in a Molton brown store, and sprayed a few of their EDT testers on spills. They're a bit one-dimensional, but nice. The Russian leather was delicious, if you wanted to layer it in with something else.

It's sunny here and I'm picking up our spaniel from the local kennels. So Sotd is tangy fresh Rhubarb Aedes de Venustas for the mild weather and to cut thru' the somewhat aromatic smell of recently kennelled dog.....
Still lots of Xmas food here so it's very difficult to eat healthily. Though I am managing to resist the kids chocolate.
