I love the idea of nose hungry. I definitely identify with that. But also nose angry ... when I was standing behind a teenage boy in the supermarket today and couldn't smell my own delicious smell over his drenching with Lynx. Ewww.

There's been a few shops offering 15-20% off AdP perfumes, like John Lewis. If you really want it and you've got the cash spare, why not? It's a total useless luxury, but most of us need one or two of those. Today I finally adulted and went to the denist for the first time in four years - and it was a new one, as the reason I hadn't gone was that mine had closed and I couldn't find an NHS one (still haven't, gone private). Lying in that chair I kept smelling my AdP Oud and it relaxed me right down. Totally worth it - and better for me than valium... (And no work needed, hurrah!)

I'm getting a new avon one next week and a 4160 for xmas so I'll be up to 29 fbs :)

Well, I don't get snacks outside of home, I don't drive a more expensive car than I have to, I shop very cannily, I wear clothes until they fall apart... if there's something I really really want and I can objectively afford it, I go for it.

Do you trust ebay for scents? I am so nervous of that place!

I really enjoyed today's review, reading them all is a highlight of my day at the moment.

SOTD was Clinique aromatics in black or whatever it's called. Trying it again as I received it last advent but it's still not for me. Currently drowned out by the smell of sick as DS2 has come down with something. Sigh.

Hope ds2 is improving lots :(
I'm taking a friend to a hospital appt shortly then stocking up on snacks/choc/alcohol for later...

Had a lovely chat with my DS (16) last night about perfume/after shave. i may have converted him!
i have given him a small bottle of PP eau savage.

For xmas he is getting either tea tonique or poirer de soir. (DH will get the other).

I am asking DH for chanel no19 as i cannot find a dupe!!

No apt choice for me today. Just keeping it calm in L'Occitane Eau d' Iparie with soothing green Myrrh and Incense.
I have over 50 bottles of perfume, though I normally buy in the smallest size possible and often from Tk Maxx. And I buy and sell as much as I can , especially sample sets. I also find many new niche underwhelming and am increasingly finding the brand's I do like are closing down. However whenever I become a bit jaded I seem to find another love. Recently it's Oakmoss in vintage and more recent perfumes. Before that it was Myrrh 🙂. I'm now really looking forward to the new Ffern Winter Perfume. The build up to the launches are carefully orchestrated on social media and we're all on tenterhooks . Well, I am.......
