Ah I see. That’s commendable.

I can’t afford to do that.

Sooverthemill · 16/03/2020 09:09

I can't really! But we don't have actual food shops near us and they have been useful in an emergency so I would like to keep them going . We will also buy a newspaper today from the newsagent. Our nearest supermarket is a 30 minute drive ( Waitrose again treats and emergency only) and Tesco is 50 minute drive. So these 'corner' shops are a life line for our community. If the holiday makers/ second home people stop coming for the next 3 months it will be a disaster for our town. I'm lucky as my income is fixed ( Carers allowance and tiny occ pension) but most employees here are on very shaky contracts

miffy2 · 16/03/2020 13:34

I had to laugh. I have been buying from Hush for years; I have most of my orders shipped to a UK forwarding address (cheaper/free delivery) and have never ever had Friends status.

I decided to buy the ecru joggers after dithering for ages. Guess what appears at checkout? Hush Friends delivery option....which is fab except the joggers are on a 6-7 week backorder :) :)
Thought it was ironic.

Stay safe everyone. We are in social avoidance status here in Ireland and so far so good. Shops are mostly not running out of things as they had prepared for a hard Brexit.

My trip to Washington DC was cancelled at the last minute as we felt it was not safe to travel. Very disappointing but inevitable. As a result I am treating myself to some online retail therapy!

Sooverthemill · 16/03/2020 14:21

Oh @miffy tell me what the joggers are like when they finally arrive. I have them in my basket too

Sooverthemill · 18/03/2020 10:35

I received and loved the josie shirt dress I got in the archive sale ( guessing it's a few winters ago ) and although my DH and DD both loved it, I don't think I'd get much wear out of it. Lovely fabric, very heavy but quite a formal dress for me as even in normal circumstances I hardly ever go out of her house. Reluctantly sent it back this morning.

miffy2 · 18/03/2020 16:25

That's such a pity, Soover, but I totally understand.

I have been lusting after the Sophie star print shirt dress (not unlike the Josie) and comparing it to a Dancing Leopard Dove dress in a similar print but with shorter sleeves. The DL is a bit cheaper but I feel it is less versatile than the Hush, mostly due to the sleeve length, but I like the belt on the DL dress. I would get a lot of wear out of this style of dress (albeit not for the foreseeable as I am stuck at home and in gym gear every day) but can't decide.

Hush

Dove

miffy2 · 18/03/2020 16:26

Then again by the time I get to wear a dress again I may consider this one instead as it is really pretty:

Hush Harriet

Sooverthemill · 19/03/2020 09:16

That's lovely @miffy2 , really nice. I wear dresses in the summer/spring ( wearing my susanna today) but they need to be casual for my running around looking after DD and with all my menagerie!

dontcallmelen · 22/03/2020 13:50

Hello everyone just dropping in, nothing to report still on my no spend.
But it has paid off, cc is clear & current account healthy cant remember last time that was the case!
Hope everyone is ok & keeping safe & well as you can.

Ninkanink · 24/03/2020 21:09

Wow len that’s awesome! Well done you.

I’ve placed myself on a spending lockdown. Might as well rein it in for a good while.

Ninkanink · 24/03/2020 21:11

👋 to all! I’ve had to stay away to avoid being tempted to spend...

Wishing you all well. 🌷

Talisin · 24/03/2020 22:08

Anyone else having a virtual window shop of the new collection?

I really like the city tailored shorts in black, am both drawn to and repulsed (trypophobia) by the lisle sandals, the luana dress and the ida broderie midi. The steamer is a bit random though...

Sooverthemill · 25/03/2020 11:28

I've bought stuff
Juno sweatshirt in both colours ( love them)
The Lennie jeans
Just put in an order with 10% off for Moreno sweatshirt ( there's a theme), the pink relaxed trousers and Newport sandals

miffy2 · 26/03/2020 17:25

Ooh, soover, what is the fit like on the Juno sweatshirts? Medium (which is what I would usually buy) is all sold out. They are beautiful colours.

Sooverthemill · 26/03/2020 17:59

@miffy they are big. I'm a 10 and the XS is good . I originally got the S but sent but back as too big

miffy2 · 26/03/2020 18:21

Thanks - I might give the small a try

miffy2 · 27/03/2020 16:43

Are Hush still doing referrals? I have someone who may be ordering for the first time but my referral link no longer works. Can I generate a new one? I tried clicking on the introduce a friend link and it didn't bring up anything.

Sooverthemill · 27/03/2020 18:00

@miffy2 mines not working either. None of the referral codes I have for anyone seems to work

Sooverthemill · 02/04/2020 15:45

Weird. Just noticed premium delivery option has gone. Probably can't be guaranteed for now.

Topsyturvey10 · 03/04/2020 18:40

Wise ladies of Hush, are there any codes available at the moment?
Thank you very much

Sooverthemill · 03/04/2020 19:19

@Topsyturvey10 no codes but free delivery and 90 day returns. If you've not bought from hush before PM me and I can give you a referral code for £20 off

DarlingCoffee · 04/04/2020 06:38

APRIL10 worked for me a week ago

Topsyturvey10 · 04/04/2020 07:43

Thank you both, I have ordered before but not for ages. I need to upgrade loungewear so will try April10.

Sooverthemill · 04/04/2020 10:02

APRIL10 just gives the free delivery and returns. Sadly the 10% off ended 31 March. They dint do discounts often but may need to with the current crisis all retailers are facing job losses.

Sooverthemill · 11/04/2020 10:11

Who has hush joggers? I have a pair of amie but would like a different pair. Was about to go with the ecru ones but realised they dint have pockets! Wtf. Any other styles recommended ( NOT harems, I'm too short and look like a clown in them) thanks
