I think the whole Meghan and Hillary meeting plays into the hands of a certain section of the media. Meghan being vocal about her dislike for Trump and not being available when he was in London and now meeting Hillary. Also aren’t the royals meant to not indicate any political preference?

Lots of people are where they are today having the opportunity they have because of who the know or who the are married to from celebrities to people who get work experience in a particular field because there parents work there.

Would people have been interested in Cherie Blair or Samantha Cameron if the weren't married to prime ministers? Probably not but they were and have capitalised on it and had opportunities they wouldn't have had otherwise. Meghan is just doing the same.

Personally I think getting advise from women who have been in the public eye on a similar level to her and have weathered many a press storm like Hillary has seems a pretty wavy move. As for leaking the story maybe the Sussex did maybe the Clinton's did From the quotes in the DM it sounds to me like it's more likely to have come from camp

I think there has been lots of tabloid press about the Middletons and them using their connections for their own benefit ie Pippa and her books, Waitrose articles, possible US interviews etc but of course that is all in the past now that the UK tabloids have a new royal wife to pick on.

I think the middleton family would probably dispute that they've had a free run in the press...

I think the issue with Andrew round a hands up, mea culpa interview is that the girl was under the age of consent in the location they were in and that she had been trafficked across state lines.
