The picture is Kate arriving by train how normal how down to earth but was she just in a carriage with everyone else, or did they buy out a carriage or 2 making the cheap affordable option probably actually much more expensive. That's the angle the press would take for Meghan anyway, but it's Kate so it will be 'Down to earth duchess' as some one said she takes the train rewears an outfit the story is probably already written.

The Cambridge's travel as much as the Sussex's they just hide it better/the press aren't looking as hard as what they do. I'm sure they also have meetings with high profile figures that we know nothing about and I would put money on Cambridge kids having met loads of people we just haven't heard/the press haven't told us. The double standard for H&M is ridiculous. Be critical of the lifestyle the royals lead but do it fairly!

But my point is booking out the whole of a first class carriage is probably no cheaper than driving would of been it's a PR stunt. Why is that ok but Meghan taking a commercial flight that was going to fly with our without her on board is something to get her up about.

If the issue is air travel in general then yes the amount of flights the royal family take on the whole is ridiculous but they are all at it. It's not just H&M!

I suppose it depends how many people had to come with her - protection officers, personal assistant etc. They would have needed several cars.

True maybe the train was the cheaper option and if so fair enough I just find that lots of questions are asked about any choice Harry and Meghan make while I don't see the same happening with William and Kate.

Possibly I find it hard to keep up with issues with Meghan in particular but the Sussex's in general. According to the papers yesterday the queen pops down to Frogmore all the time. So she is over whatever snub people think was delivered.

It's possible she meant with a newborn as in Meghan flew over as a new mum. You know even though she has a newborn she still supports her friends as oppose to that he was actually with her.

Tbf PinkSun9, those in PR generally accept that there is a lot of truth in what is revealed through 'sources' - although we should obviously not take it as gospel.

Love today's outfit on Kate , the colour is just beautiful. I think the skirt could be slightly longer but it's not too bad. The block heels are nice, I like those very much.

In Ireland a few years sgo a high profile very iwealthy individual ( not an aristo) was caught in a cery compromising situation which involved cocaine and a call girl. He was wisely advised to do a public interview and came out with his hands up apologising profusely and "owning" his behaviour.

I love Kate in her heliotrope outfit today. The vibrant colour suits her so well, and is just right to cheer up a grey November day. I like the frills and the skirt length too, and think it works well with the block heels. A really good choice for the occasion.

Well a quick Google shows more hits about Meghan and Hillary than Meghan, Harry & Christmas

So either, there is actually not blanket coverage about the Sussexes skipping Christmas, or Hillary and Meghan's mutual PR has scored a coup with the "secret" visit. Which was oh so conveniently leaked.
