Ill look in most places but topshop and river island have both went downhill for me. I wouldn't buy anything from next mns or boux Avenue

Mango. When I lived on the continent I was Miss Mango. I'd buy the same thing in different colours for work, but over here Mango is much more trendy and I haven't seen anything I've liked in years.

Use to - French connection, monsoon, coast, fat face. Ted baker,
It’s just frumpy, poor quality and a bit ‘samey’. Not to mention overpriced.

Still M&S for my knickers tho !

Karen Millen is a has-been for me. Which is annoying as tailored stuff in colours should be an instant win for the more mature hem hem lady.

Abandonment seems to be either on grounds of quality/overpricing/the look isn't working for you anymore.

Clothes have got cheaper, which is why I laff gaily at a Jigsaw coat for £500 when I can get one that lasts longer in better fabric from HM for £80. Or TK Maxx. If £500 is on the table, then why not buy a real coat from net a porter/outnet that will last yonks.

I spend far less on clothes now simply because I don’t often find things I like! I am also more worried about fast fashion and feel that a lot of purchases are just wasteful!

I got a dress from Boden last week but I’ve just won an eBay auction on a similar style for less than half the price so the Boden one will prob go back. Only downside I find to eBay is that sizes are sometimes a bit off.

Next - massively overpriced and poor quality. Not the same as it used to be.

Debenhams - old fashioned, badly laid out, cramped, overheated, and snotty rude staff.

Going off Morrisons too - dirty, badly stocked, run down, and poor quality fresh food especially fruit and veg.

43 here. I no longer shop in Zara or Mango - the quality's crap.

Massimo Dutti is great, though.

Next - service is appalling.

They seem to have lost their way a bit too, used to be my first port of call for office wear but the quality is now shit.

Next - used to shop there a lot but feel the quality has gone downhill

Monsoon - again, used to shop there a lot but feel it is a bit overpriced

Next service is awful. I agree. You order something and sometimes it doesnt even arrive. No explanation. Quality is at best, variable.

This sounds really weird, but if you used to like Next and are a size 12/14 or under, try their children's range! Sounds odd, but they have some nice things in it and the age 16 is equivalent to their adult size 12, which fits a 12/14 IME.

I am a bigger size than that, but I get my leggings from there and they're much better quality.
