I just wish she and the other ladies in the bakery would tie their hair back properly when baking
Glad it’s not just me, Blush

queenofarles · 01/11/2019 10:00

Queen wouldn’t mind seeing them all with hair tied up in a bun, my ocd gets the better of me!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/11/2019 10:02

Health & safety first Grin

queenofarles · 01/11/2019 10:12

Health & safety first
😂 nope ,That won’t do

BertrandRussell · 01/11/2019 10:15

“Meghan, the new Typhoid Mary”

TSSDNCOP · 01/11/2019 10:16

Yes, obviously Kate's got her halo headbands to keep hers back Grin

queenofarles · 01/11/2019 10:29

Bertrand it’s unhygienic ,Meghan or not.
I see one lady with turban , would gladly eat anything she makes.

BertrandRussell · 01/11/2019 10:46

Yes, I think they should tie their hair up. But I think they should tie their hair up on Bake Off too.

But of all the things to focus on......

DevonUkelele · 01/11/2019 10:54

I could make an excuse to try to wear those shoes Livy has on there.

TSSDNCOP · 01/11/2019 11:03

Devon I think they would make that unsticking sound when you walked. More taxi to table than cobbles in the Palace courtyard. I would absolutely love to be invested. Could services to HR count?

BertrandRussell · 01/11/2019 11:17

Glad to see that my one woman campaign against Emilia Wicksteed has another piece of evidence....

DevonUkelele · 01/11/2019 11:18

Hmmm, yeah, that awkward schtk-squelch, schtk-squelch, stumble combo @TSSDNCOP 🤔. Maybe, if one is Queen, one could make it work ...l

BeaBravo · 01/11/2019 11:23

“Meghan, the new Typhoid Mary

Grin the Daily Mail will nick that!

queenofarles · 01/11/2019 11:47

Don’t get me started on GBBO Bertrand Grin
lots of face touching while decorating cakes Shock.

Encyclo · 01/11/2019 11:48

That bakery is an amazing place. Good on Meghan for promoting it.

One day, maybe, it will become all about the work she's trying to do and not about everything else.

frugalkitty · 01/11/2019 12:11

First thing I thought when I saw the video this morning was that she should have worn her hair up.

Rhubarbisevil · 01/11/2019 13:05

Clodagh the cook actually licked her fingers in This Morning and didn’t wash them (I was watching closely). Meh.

thisenglishlife · 01/11/2019 13:26

Chefs and cooks never seem to wash their hands when cooking meat on live TV (often with recorded tv too).

Apparently, Archie will be will be 'cheering on' England in the rugby final in an England onesie.

thisenglishlife · 01/11/2019 13:27

I meant to say when handling/touching raw meat

IfWishesWereFishes · 01/11/2019 13:57

Translation: Archie will dribble through the first half, then do a big poop, then fall asleep Grin

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/11/2019 14:16

Not royal, although there's photos of Diana and Meghan there, but Anna Wintour has turned 70. A-Dubs has changed very little over the course of 30 years!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/11/2019 16:18

Thanks for that link @QueenOfTheAndals
Anna Wintour and HM must be the only women who have had exactly the same hairstyle for their entire adult lives!

Wetdogloveshubert · 01/11/2019 17:06

There's an interview with Meghan in the Telegraph link which may be a little OTT, but it also focuses on the empowerment angle involved with the bakery. Meghan looked fab today; she really does casual very well.

There is a new engagement for Kate: she'll be opening The Nook, an EACH Hospice on 15 November.

latedecember1963 · 01/11/2019 17:24

Add my mum's name to your hairstyle list, CurlyWurlyTwirly! 😂

latedecember1963 · 01/11/2019 17:25

Meant to add that my mum is also partial to a HMQ style headscarf knotted under her chin.
