Agree 100pc

Wildthyme · 30/10/2019 20:04

Oh well, I wear a scarf under my clothes, 17th century fichu style. I'm 300 odd years out of date Halloween Grin

flyingspaghettimonster · 30/10/2019 20:05

I thought an indoor scarf was that organza thing the curtains wear to look fancy

OoohRhubarbLetsGo · 30/10/2019 20:10

I didn’t know indoor scarves were a thing, but then again I’m generally sufficiently warmed by multiple cardigans and slippers

ViciousJackdaw · 30/10/2019 20:14

Who is Cod?

Some mouldie. These days, she's a very small fish in a very big pond.

SoupDragon · 30/10/2019 20:15

Was there really any need to be nasty?

Lovely13 · 30/10/2019 20:18

Wear a scarf indoors and outdoors virtually all year round. Why? Because I feel the cold. You are judging people because they get cold? What sort of weird person are you? Oh and I wear gloves when it’s cold too.

ViciousJackdaw · 30/10/2019 20:19

Who's nasty Soup? Me? OP? Someone else?

theansweris42 · 30/10/2019 20:25

wild I love the fichu idea! Gonna pinch Smile

I'm still none the wiser as to what a bloody 'indoor scarf' is. Not being disingenuous.
I've scrolled through 16 pages and looked at all the photos. There is no common theme, just lots of completely different scarves.
Change the post to: 'IMHO people should not wear scarves indoors'
Fixed it for you.
BTW, wear what you bloody like.

Petrachat · 30/10/2019 20:42

Could not agree more @Trewser, presently sitting with large quilt covering lower limbs, with my aged, conversed feet peeking from the bottom, sippping a weakish G&T, and rather looking forward to a cup of hot chocolate later. I would not dream of wearing a scarf indoors, what is wrong with people, a scarf is an outdoor accessory.

Melroses · 30/10/2019 20:46

Inspired by this thread and the currently cold weather, I dug a long scarf out of the back of my drawer and wrapped it round, and my neck is lovely and warm now Smile

I may swap it for a wheatbag later, though.

Nah that was another dickhead who can only feel ok when she’s putting other folk down

There’s a lot of that about...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/10/2019 21:16

I'm currently wearing a crochet blanket around my neck, because it's flipping freezing. Might wear it to the pub at the weekend too.

IssyDewey123 · 30/10/2019 21:19

In or out of fashion is that such a thing anymore ??

IssyDewey123 · 30/10/2019 21:21

I actually make and design such a scarf dint shoot me Grin

There’s nothing as frumpy as indoor scarves
Totaldogsbody · 30/10/2019 21:21

I thought in the 21st Century we would all be past criticising people for what they wear. Personally I would rather be a comfortable frump and will continue to wear indoor/ outdoor scarves, converse and leggings . Im just away to put my wee crocheted blankly over my wee old legs ☺

OhMyDarling · 30/10/2019 21:29

I’m with @CodenameVillanelle.
(Also I like your username and am jealous I didn’t think of it)

Kirigiri · 30/10/2019 21:34

RoxanneRoxanne · 30/10/2019 22:01

I feel like cracking out my 10 yr old MN scarf and wearing some mum boots tomorrow, just to piss OP off.

Love these threads that people create just to get a reaction

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 30/10/2019 22:18

I’m currently immensely enjoying the return to scarf wearing weather. I bloody love a scarf. And a blanket.

Loved the comment about causing a glitch in the matrix. Grin
