@kite omg that's such a good outfit! Am seething with jealousy our charity shops are full of rubbish..

Thanks @Sooverthemill. We have a good selection of charity shops, but there is one that is especially brilliant. I got chatting to the ladies who work there and apparently they have a couple of regular donors who donate lots of high end stuff - I sometimes wonder if it’s someone rich and famous?!

Also last year I was on maternity leave so used to go into every charity shop every day (killing time while baby slept in buggy.....) so I snapped up some really good stuff.

Today I’m wearing jersey culottes and Boden jumper

Comfort is the name of the game today. I’m in navy slim fit jeans (Gap), pale blue cashmere jumper (Boden) and grey trainers (Phase Eight).

Standard for me, I need to up my game, so looking at all your outfits for ideas.

Looking at my photo, I now think my outfit isn't very flattering. Going to change!

Gusting 100mph here 😬 And taking middle child to a skateboarding party in a draughty church hall shortly so woolly pully and trainers here.

Am really struggling with coats/jackets at the moment. I have a French connection parka that is great in the rain, a knee length duvet coat from lands end that was my mum's for when it is mega cold, and a lightweight sailing jacket for on the water.

I feel like I need a jacket. Very little money to spend, was thinking (second hand) padded jacket, joules etc? Or perhaps a little wool type jacket from new look perhaps? 🤔

Comfort is the name of the game today for me. Went for a run this morning then spent the day walking to the beach with DH and the Dc and DDog then meeting friends for a nice (slightly boozy) late lunch. Sunny and quite mild here today.

I on the other hand look a state. I have however sanded down and filled a door, ready to undercoat and put a coat of paint on ds2's bedroom.

Anyone watching Strictly? I’m suddenly wondering if I could pull off a sequinned jumpsuit. Although I’m not sure when I’d wear it - it’s hardly office wear.

@Oubliette I had to “get real” about my wardrobe over the last couple of years - kept being tempted by shiny things, “going out” dresses, shoes etc but the reality is I probably average one or two occasions a year that merit dressing up. And I had no day to day clothes!

So now I focus on day to day stuff and try to only buy “going out” stuff that can also be dressed down, and not sure I could dress down a sequin jumpsuit ....

@OublietteBravo it’s the run-up to Christmas - if you’re going to wear a sequin jumpsuit, now is totally the time! Come December, I wear sequins to work (obviously this depends on your workplace), the trick is to dress them down a bit.

I would love the opportunity to wear a sequin jumpsuit! Go for it!

Although if you’re talking bright red, that might be harder to pull off...

Well I’m planning on rocking a couple of sequin skirts during the day!

I’m not sure I can dress down a sequin jumpsuit sufficiently to wear it to work - the dress code might not be quite that flexible
