Are DMs comfortable from the start or need breaking in?

@macbooknotpro yes they are Jadon DM's
They haven't been as bad as I first thought to break in, just a few blisters! 😂
I wear thick socks over my tights.
I am persevering!!

@KiteflyingKat I think it depends on the DM's. I have a pair that are soft leather and they were no problem.

@KiteflyingKat my leather ones were no problem, comfortable from the start however I wish I’d got half a size smaller now. My patent ones not too bad but not as comfy!

So many lovely outfits! Thank you everyone for sharing pictures. No work today so I'm wearing a new pinafore from Dorothy Perkins with black top under, tights and DM boots. The dress doesn't really show up on the photo but it's teal green.

I'd love to know more about these mint velvet leggings - what do you wear with them? Basically, does the top half need to be long enough to cover your bum?!

Thanks so much @Miseryisabutterfly! I must admit, I felt good in what I wore yesterday. The socks are M&S. they are amazing (I have them in grey too to wear with my black boots) but expensive at £6 a pop!

I’m going to order another pair of the leggings @Softpebbles for when these are in the wash. Wore them today & didn’t have to change out of them straight away - a true sign of how comfy they are.

@Talisin please tell me your NL boots were a recent buy? I love them

@LuxuryWoman2018 The boots are ridiculously comfortable and great in that you can adjust the lacing for your calf width and then just leave them that way as they have a side zip!

The coat was my mum’s - after one winter’s wear she decided it was too heavy and too long for her so I grabbed it and ran away before she changed her mind This is its fourth winter with me and it’s still going strong, fantastic quality.

Tapestry inspired skirt today that my sister in law gave me (she bought the wrong size and couldn't be bothered to return), primark jumper and Chelsea boots.

I've just discovered it's a teacher training day on Monday and have absolutely no idea who will look after the DC...

I've ventured out in this charity shop coat this eve... bought (whilst tbh a bit pissed up-about 5 years ago), In head makes me look like Kate moss circa 98-in practice like Pat Butcher?

We are going out at lunchtime and I want to wear my new pink coat so I'm neutral today.
Jumper: hush Clara this season
Jeans: banana republic girlfriend
Trainers: jigsaw Olivia which I'm loving much more this year than last - when we go out it will be Boden pink coat and probably jigsaw grey leather ankle boots if not raining , if raining Merrill waterproof and ugg waterproof hiking boots ( but I want it to be sunny please)
