Oh my Mint Velvet haul arrived!! Absolutely LOVE the faux leather leggings. So comfy. For those who already have them @Ellapaella I think)? Do they wear well? Should I buy another pair for back up? I can see me getting so much wear out of them. Also very happy with the oversized white shirt, black jumpsuit & gold lariat necklace (perfect for breaking up high necklines for this hourglass).

happytobemrsg there are a few New Lifes' around. The biggest one is in Cannock. If you are ever in that direction it is well worth a visit. I have a lot of whistles, mint velvet and super dry stuff which is a from there.

I went into town to buy some Hallowe'en stuff so I wore navy spotted harem pants, gold trainers old but pretty next t-shirt and an old purple Jersey cardi.

I'm not sure twosoups1972. It might not be because it has a row of small buttons all down one side and it hangs asymmetrically.

Have the cold from hell and back to work :(

@happytobemrsg sorry I am only just catching up with thread as I've been away and just saw your question about the MV leggings. I got mine maybe about a year ago and they still look fine, I don't wear them an awful lot but they do seem to wash ok etc.

Today, I’m wearing dark blue spanx jeggings (jean-ish is the model, I think - they’re lovely), white t-shirt from Asos and white, blue and black patterned cardigan from Bottega Veneta.

When out (for long walk with dog and baby in pram), I was also wearing a khaki Hush jacket, Burberry scarf in black and purple tones, and Timberland boots.

I’m in mega layers today as in the west of Ireland.

Today I'm in Top shop Jamie jeans, grey slogan sweatshirt from h&m and my Stan smiths. Popped my new black teddy bear coat from Zara when I went out earlier and I am in love! I went to a crafting thing with my eldest so was worried about paint etc going on a nicer top.

Those with the MV leather leggings - true to size? I have v skinny legs (shame rest of me isn't) so wondering if I should size down?

Can I join please? I've had a few rubbish years where I lost interest in dressing nicely and looking after myself-something that had previously been important to me. I feel like I'm just getting my mojo back a bit... Tb is thread will help keep me motivated I hope . Plus I love seeing everyone's outfits...

I have a black cord pinafore dress on today from Joy the store, over a jumper from Oliver Bonas (nice autumny stripes and a bit of sparkle which is not like me at all), thick black tights and chunky low heeled boots.

I'm wearing a TU pinafore, organic cotton tee from Dorothy Perkins, black opaques and blowfish boots. Wore my new teddy coat when I ventured out, it did the job...it was bitter today! 🥶

I’m re-thinking my work wardrobe a bit. I have a lot of these jersey type dresses but I’m not sure if my work style (ie tight dress with heels) is a bit dated? Honest opinions appreciated
