I've had a long (stressful) day at work but finished it off nicely by taking the kids out for tea. My 8 year old came back from a 3 day residential today so I'm loving having him home and hearing about his adventures.

To the pub for tea I wore black skinny jeans (Superdry) sparkly jumper from Wallis, AllSaints biker jacket and a black sparkly hat from Espirit (bought in Amsterdam a few years ago).

@Talisin @twosoups1972 I have the bag in black, Oxblood (which looks more like dark brown to me) and a pale stone colour. I bought them all at half price as my gift to myself when I was pregnant, sick and miserable

I’ve heard some good things about Snag tights so I’ve ordered a couple of pairs & will report back!

The reason I think it’s great is it has a short strap plus a long one so I can sling it across my body when I need to pick up a toddler.

It’s also not absolutely massive.

I have a Scout Hobo in khaki. In fact I think I started a thread on it? I love mine.

And now I've just seen its reduced by £50 thanks to Black Friday. Hmmmm, I could send it back and reorder it in the blue which I've also just spotted!

@Talisin love today's outfit. I'll be wearing a similar dress to yours with knee high suede boots today. Miserable day - I've been out for a run with the dog, came straight back for hot shower and will soon be getting ready to go out for a treat lunch at Hotel du Vin with the family. I was going to wear my red faux fur coat but I anticipate getting drenched - it's hasn't stopped raining all morning.

How many coats do you have @Ellapaella? I hardly have any. Loving the outfit - especially the boots.

Today I’m in pleather leggings (Mint Velvet), with a cashmere jumper (Boden) and trainers (Hobbs).

I’m in Lucy and yaks love em.

I put on my pinafore dress but wasn’t feeling it, so changed into the wool Cos skirt I got from a charity shop this week.

The jumper (wool) has shrunk a bit in the wash , despite having been washed before on the same setting ggggrrrrrrr

DH (who never comments on clothes) said the socks with the boots looks weird - what do you think??

1 real leather biker, 2 faux leather ones (black and oxblood), this faux fur one, a black wool coat, blue wool coat, denim jacket, grey tweed wool coat, a seasalt rain coat, a mustard raincoat, a big Superdry puffa coat and a short lightweight padded jacket. A coat for every occasion!

You’ve got me looking at my coat collection now! It’s rainy and I’m bored!

I find I’ve collected coats over the years. I tend to buy good quality & styles that are not too “high fashion” - such as this year’s teddy coats - so they last and last. Many of my coats are over ten years old and many I got second hand.

I’ve got:

• My “main” winter coat by Allegri from TK Maxx bought 7 years ago and still going strong. And it’s machine washable yay!!

• Reiss wool coat, black speckled - charity shop bargain

• Reiss black wool coat, EBay bargain, - over ten years old

-Jaeger navy wool coat - TK Maxx bargain

• Topshop duffel coat - about ten years old

• Lands End super thick coat - ugly but insanely warm so reserved for seriously cold days when I don’t care about looking stylish!!

• mint Velvet parka - charity shop bargain recently

• Whistles mac - charity shop bargain

• Ralph Lauren short quilted jacket via TK Maxx - couple of years old

• Reiss short wool coat - over 10 years old

• black leather jacket from Religion - over ten years old

• brown suede Dolce & Gabanna jacket - TK Maxx bargain

• about 6 blazer / smart jackets from when I used to work in a very very corporate environment. Mainly from charity shops

I think I only have 5 coats: waterproof jacket, short down coat, long winter coat (which I never wear as I find it difficult to drive in it), short grey jacket and trench coat.

I feel well enough to contemplate a little wander around town so we have a sitter booked for midday. And it's so nice to wear actual clothes after weeks of jogging bottoms! I have on
Jeans: brown soft cord jeans by current Elliot ( eBay bargain at £8 last winter!)
Thermal vest by M&S at least 20 years old
Jumper: hush Clara this season

I will wear comfy low suede ankle boots and add an ancient Hobbs padded gilet and a french convection puffa coat and cashmere gloves and hat( I feel the cold). DH has just whinged because I asked him to change out of filthy dog walking clothes to accompany me!

Hoping to get stocking fillers and have a light lunch if town not too busy and maybe even see the sea!
