It can go too far I think.
There needs to be a little less volume to the dresses, and not all hiker style boots are a good look.

If the model looks this bad, I would look like a toddler in mums clothes

Toast kind of tiptoe around this with styling and I just wish they’d make it a tad sleeker, at least a touch of shape to the waist area or a gradual flare.

@AmethystWoodstar great username! I think the Lancashire cotton mill folk are working with plumo and toast. At least toast try.

Is that really fashion?

1forAll74 · 19/10/2019 15:14

It's like an 1890's maternity dress. My great grandmother had one like this, only it was black.

pigeononthegate · 19/10/2019 15:17

It's the blunt fringe and head tilt in combination with those stolid boots and workhouse dress...she looks like the Shining twins' less stable auntie Shock

Namechange84 · 19/10/2019 15:19

I wonder if she thinks she'll grow into it. The dress and the fringe.

formerbabe · 19/10/2019 15:29

I'm sorry to sound unfeminist but do you reckon any man would find that outfit remotely attractive?

saltysally · 19/10/2019 15:34

That's awful

I'm no fan of the teddy bear coats either

TottieandMarchpane · 19/10/2019 15:35

Gulag chic?

Hideous.

LilyJade · 19/10/2019 15:35

No I will not be dressing like that.

I'm not a nun.

LilyJade · 19/10/2019 15:35

In fact nuns look better

ILiveInSalemsLot · 19/10/2019 15:36

She looks like a brainwashed member of a weird cult. It’s hideous.

Whatsforu · 19/10/2019 15:40

Jeez that is awful!!! Why is she modelling it like that, she looks like something out of a horror movie. Mind you surely that wouldn't look good on anyone.

MarianaMoatedGrange · 19/10/2019 15:41

I like the dress Blush

PlasticPatty · 19/10/2019 15:41

The dress is fine (though black and grey would be better). The boots need black laces - velvet if you like, but black. Plain is good. It allows the beauty of the woman to be the focus.

do you reckon any man would find that outfit remotely attractive?
To wear?
Oh, I see, you think women should dress to please men. No need. They have x-ray eyes. They can spot an attractive or available woman no matter what she's wearing.

QueenofLouisiana · 19/10/2019 15:55

She looks like someone from Miss Whatsit’s School for Peculiar Children. I will not be attempting to emulate this trend, I’m not sure Suffolk is ready for this look!

ginghamtablecloths · 19/10/2019 15:55

At least the boots look comfortable but they don't go with the dress which is about as unattractive as it gets. Somehow I can't see this catching on but what do I know?

formerbabe · 19/10/2019 15:55

@PlasticPatty. Unclench...that's why I added the unfeminist comment before the question, but yes absolutely, of course I believe women should dress at all times to please men Hmm

MintyMabel · 19/10/2019 15:56

I’m nearly crying here
Hmm

thetardis · 19/10/2019 15:57

practical and comfy. i'll bet there's even pockets Shock

Musicforsnorks · 19/10/2019 16:01

Yes because crying laughing at silly photo is so offensive isn’t it?

I’m seriously not apologising for having a fairly benign sense of humour!

TottieandMarchpane · 19/10/2019 16:02

And parachuting.

GreigLaidlawsbarofsoap · 19/10/2019 16:04

Amish reject meets Alice in Wonderland psycho.

Hideous sackful of nope.
