The blue is pretty bad, but I still think the yellow is even worse - mostly because Kate looks so unhappy in it. It's like she knows she looks like nana's curtains.

That tux ain't great either! Cambridges not rocking their best looks here.

Lunde · 12/10/2019 00:06

With CPV's outfit - I think it looked better with the coat but the dress was too fussy when she took it off.

Love those shoes on HMQ 70 years ago.

This is how 2kings greet each other with a big bear hug Love it!
Felipe and Wax at an Exhibition in Amsterdam.

I haven’t ever seen Felipe look so animated!

William is at the pub talking about mental health and football.

Erdem always seems so fussy to me. Like the designer doesn’t know when to stop adding all the frills and patterns and ruffles and more frills and what we need here is a ruffle, and a high neck, and shall we have some pattern?

The tweed number was definitely the exception to prove the rule, I liked that. But the others are not good.

They both look so relaxed and pleased to be there rather than sufferance. The scandis have definitely sorted out peer support and relationships. George needs to start hosting some 👑👑👑👑 sleepovers pronto!

The kings look so very mich much polished and dapper than William and Harry. I think those colours (at least the darker gray) would work better on Harry than the v light gray he lives in even though it washes him out.

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2019 07:58

I never realised Wax was so tall! I know SFF is about 6'6 but he's not much shorter.

Harry was out and about for World Mental Health Day too - visiting a school, I think.

I liked the tweed dress on Kate. The blue velvet trimmed thing was awful. She looks positively podgy in it.

Ankle straps do not do the shorter leg any favours. They look best on Kate when there's just a flash of them from under a full length gown.

paradyning · 12/10/2019 08:18

I said it before and I'll say it again!
The tweed number was a smidge too long for a midi and had buttons that matched her engagement ring!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 12/10/2019 08:48

@Becles yep definitely, they need to get a few Scandinavian princes and princesses over to the UK for a meet up.
Actually back in the 80s thé Wales did go on holiday with a King JC and family in Mallorca.
I bet Will & Kate would enjoy going hiking with CPV and family.

Maybe Queen Victoria was not entirely wrong marrying off her children into other Royal Houses.....

I loved the tweedy Erdem but maybe would have been better if not off the shoulder.

frugalkitty · 12/10/2019 09:02

I really liked the purple tweed Erdem. But, for the most part, Erdem is basically the posh girl's Per Una Grin

StCharlotte · 12/10/2019 09:12

Swimming against the tide again, in the same way that I loathe the teal Jenny Peckham, I adore the blue velvet. The tweed was over-designed - I'd like to see a Chanel version.

Ha ha - you're not wrong!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 12/10/2019 09:23

I’d love to see Kate in Chanel again; nobody does tweed like them.
Skinny jeans, Breton T-shirt and a Chanel jacket slung over the top, with one of those chain belts and some Chanel flats. That’s weekend wear luxe.

Yes and I've read that JC tried it on with Diana!

Nice red dress on MM. I think Kate has one that's similar.

Gorgeous vidéo from Eugenie for her wedding anniversary

Horsemad · 12/10/2019 10:09

Aaah, lovely video - a year already!

StCharlotte · 12/10/2019 10:44

That was a lovely happy video and she wore that stunning tiara so beautifully.

StCharlotte · 12/10/2019 10:46

I really like MM's red dress but I'm not sure it's the right red for her.

frugalkitty · 12/10/2019 10:58

I've just watched that video on IG, she really was a radiant bride.

paradyning · 12/10/2019 12:22

Yes @frugalkitty!! Exactly that! Grin
