She was. And that tiara is just breathtaking. I loved Meghan’s too, and thought it suited her and her dress beautifully, but the emeralds really make the Greville tiara something special.

I saw the Warehouse top in store today. I didn’t like the fact that your bra straps would be showing so presume Kate went strapless. I did think about buying it but thought in the end it just wasn’t worth the £39. It was very flimsy and would probably wash horribly.

Gorgeous video 😍 I also quite liked KM's Erdem tweed number. Would also love to see her in more Chanel - one of my favourite outfits of hers was her Paris Chanel dress.

Yeah I liked the erdem tweed dress. But then I also liked the mustard dress, so...

JaimeBronde · 12/10/2019 13:40

Erdem is the fashion equivalent of Marmite Grin

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 12/10/2019 14:25

Love Eugenie's wedding video clip - so lovely. Also love Kate in Erdem.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 12/10/2019 14:25

Meghan has worn Erdem. The green tweed is AW19; she must have bought it straight off the catwalk.
Also the dress at the wedding in Jamaica was Erdem

I love the Erfdm tweed dress but dislike everything else by Erdem on Kate and Meghan.
"Emperor's new clothes" spring to mind.

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2019 15:56

The green tweed is lovely on Meghan but I'd have preferred it without the black embroidery.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 12/10/2019 17:06

That green tweed Erdem is quite nice on Meghan actually, and I like the black accent. Mostly can't stand Erdem and I'm baffled by the love.

Are W&K en route to Pakistan today?

OP posts:
itswinetime · 12/10/2019 17:42

Doesn't the tour officially start on Monday? So I'm guessing they would travel tomorrow....I wouldn't be surprised if they travel overnight so they don't miss a weekend at home...at least that's what I would do! Or I may have got the details confused it's all a bit vague so that's definitely possible to 🤷🏻‍♀️

JaimeBronde · 12/10/2019 18:52

I'm surprised with the current troubles between Pakistan & India & the general political/social/religious/security issues in Pakistan, that the Foreign Office have allowed W&K to go there.
The security issues will be causing a monster headache & god forbid..........
(I've just finished a book on Archduke Franz Ferdinand so probably feeling a bit jumpy.)

They'll be fine (fingers crossed)

megletthesecond · 12/10/2019 19:33

Making my place for the week ahead.

yy jamie. The security must be through the roof.

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2019 19:37

Yes, that's why details of their engagements are embargoed til the day they take place.

OP posts:
JaimeBronde · 12/10/2019 20:01

And they'll probably be on a need to know basis.
Looking forward to seeing the outfits!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 12/10/2019 20:25

Spanish National day.
Letizia’s dress is too Barbieish for my taste.
The princesses look gorgeous.
(Letizia giving HSP a bit of a flirty side eye)

Can't blame her though @CurlyWurlyTwirly!

I like that dress on leti.

The princesses look a bit staid.

DevonUkelele · 12/10/2019 21:48

I like that Leti dress too.

Not the shoes though - they've got that awful clear plastic thing going on.

Ninkaninus · 12/10/2019 21:48

Brief return to genealogy:

Queen Margrethe is a great great grandchild of Queen Victoria -

Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, third son of QV, had a daughter, Princess Margaret, who was the first wife of Gustav Adolf of Sweden. Their daughter, Ingrid, became Queen of Denmark (married to Frederick IX, Margrethe’s Father).

StartupRepair · 12/10/2019 21:54

I quite like that dress on Leti.

MotherofPearl · 12/10/2019 21:56

I'm not wild about Leti's dress but it's quite a pretty colour. I agree with @DevonUkelele about the Perspex shoes.

I see this is going to be on More4 soon:

Is Mette-Marit wearing CPM's pie-crust jumper?!

Pie crust is not a forgiving look for those of us blessed in the nork department
