Bet you it’s fucking Rodebjer.

RomaineCalm · 11/10/2019 21:40

I like these pictures of HM today at the Haig Housing Trust. She opened one of their developments today; the other was opening one of their estates 70 years ago.

Love HMQ. She must be dying to make Prince Charles regent so she can stop the damn red boxes and asking trembly scared looking strangers “have you come far?”

Her dedication to hat wearing is also strong stuff.

MotherofPearl · 11/10/2019 21:51

I love those photos @RomaineCalm. Gosh, her shoes in the photo from 70 years ago are great. I know the angle and distance are different but she looks quite a bit shorter against the door frame in today's photo. I suppose she has shrunk.

AppleKatie · 11/10/2019 22:03

She looks very frail, like a child wearing her mother’s coat. Where are her hands? 😞

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 11/10/2019 22:04

She's wearing navy gloves @AppleKatie, so her hands are there but not very visible.

FiveTwoFaster · 11/10/2019 22:06

Her hands are in black gloves! HMQ has not got the sleeves of an orang-utan’s jacket! Angela Kelley won’t allow that, she definitely checks hands can be seen. They just don’t show up unless you zoom.

AppleKatie · 11/10/2019 22:11

Ah ok, looked quickly and small phone screen. I see the gloves now. Still the coat does look big on her frame. I’m not being deliberately nasty, I wish it didn’t!

DevonUkelele · 11/10/2019 22:14

I am find myself warming to a wide-legged trew 😉. Not sure, however, that there is ever a need for Erdem - it's just all the things, all the time!

MotherofPearl · 11/10/2019 22:16

Exactly @DevonUkelele. As we've discussed before, Erdem have been responsible for some of the DoC's very worst outfits.

SenecaFalls · 11/10/2019 22:26

I know not everyone on these threads liked it, but I loved Kate in this Erdem.

MotherofPearl · 11/10/2019 22:30

That's the exception that proves the rule @SenecaFalls Wink

DevonUkelele · 11/10/2019 22:33

Hmmm 🧐... it is better than most. But even then, fabric is just wrong. A tweed cut into formal wear?

It's a no from me (though his commercial success would suggest I might be wrong!)

MotherofPearl · 11/10/2019 22:33

Who can ever forget these monstrosities?

I agree with you senecafalls, I loved that dress, but then these pop up...

Great minds MotherofPearl.

mytinyfiredancers · 11/10/2019 22:38

With the exception of the red and blue Erdem in those photos, the DoC looks in a right royal huff! No wonder, I wouldn't be in the best of humour if I was wearing those. Especially that yellow thing. She looks furious!

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/10/2019 22:46

I liked the tweedy Erdem and at least the red and blue was good from the waist up. But the chartreuse number is probably the worst dress I've ever seen on Kate!

OP posts:
queenofarles · 11/10/2019 22:47

The Red and blue floral and tweed ones are lovely in my opinion.
She looks stunning in that blue red floral dress.

DevonUkelele · 11/10/2019 22:47

That yellow fright was - dead set - the worst thing poor Kate has ever worn.

queenofarles · 11/10/2019 22:58

No it’s the blue velvet dress that is the worst thing Kate has ever worn, what was she thinking!

paradyning · 11/10/2019 22:59

Even worse than the blue devore and ankle straps?

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/10/2019 23:06

Ooh I didn't spot the ankle straps. Not even Kate can carry off ankle straps in pregnancy! The red and blue was a gorgeous fabric and the colours really suited her but I didn't like the massive ruffle at the bottom.

OP posts:
QueenOfTheAndals · 11/10/2019 23:08

That tux isn't the best fit on William either as the shoulders are too big and his head looks tiny in comparison.

That was the Sweden trip, right? Maybe their bags got lost and Kate had to borrow one of CPV's floral ensembles!

JaimeBronde · 11/10/2019 23:41

I love the Erdem tweed dress but we'll have to agree to disagree on the Erdem mustard dress, it's so OTT that I like it!
