“ I’m sure they will take the exact precautions for both princes, don’t see an issue with either one of them shipping their cars for high risk places ,”
I agree. However tgt is not how either the tabloid press or Mumsnet saw it...

QueenOfTheAndals · 15/10/2019 15:18

Ask and ye shall receive! Kate looks good but look at William!!

They arrived in a rickshaw.

A clearer photo. Kate is wearing Meghan green! It really suits her and I like the colour of William's suit too.

Bertrand I’ve not been very active on here lately, but I don’t recall anyone being outraged on this thread, besides sometimes it’s cheaper to ship cars than to source one with specific requirements.

BertrandRussell · 15/10/2019 15:25

Bugger- now I’ve got a hat to eat.....

Spudlet · 15/10/2019 15:30

Bertrand Grin

That’s a good look for both of them, love how sparkly Kate’s dress is in that flashbulb barrage! They must have been folded up pretty small in that rickshaw though, unless they’re roomier than they look Grin

Lunde · 15/10/2019 15:30

... and silver shoes for those that hate nude

Ninkaninus · 15/10/2019 15:30

Oh I just adore that Meghan Green dress! Beautiful colour on her, with plenty of wow factor. Big thumbs up for that one!

Also, ‘mumsnet’ didn’t have one homogeneous opinion on cars for overseas royal visits. Some people stupidly made a big fuss, others didn’t.

AdaColeman · 15/10/2019 15:47

Bertrand As long as it isn't one of Max's hats!

beanaseireann · 15/10/2019 15:50

I was just answering a question by a poster who didn't know why the question was asked re the registration plate.
Somebody on another thread was complaining about the car being shipped out.

ChardonnaysDistantCousin · 15/10/2019 15:51

Well, William is in traditional dress as well.

Well played.

AdaColeman · 15/10/2019 15:57

Kate looks lovely in the dark green dress, I like the touch of sparkle and the silver shoes. Her earrings look very pretty too.
Interesting that Will is wearing local dress too!

BertrandRussell · 15/10/2019 16:02

I only said that because my FIL asked us to stop using a particular shortening of our ds’s name (which was also his name!) because it reminded him so much of xenophobic abuse he used to get as a recent immigrant. I know it's unlikely but worth checking just in case. Then you can think she’s an idiot with a clear conscience!

AudacityOfHope · 15/10/2019 16:03

He looks as embarrassed as he should be! It's like fancy bloody dress.

BertrandRussell · 15/10/2019 16:03

Oops- wrong thread!

Hihellohi · 15/10/2019 16:07

Audacityofhope, how rude.
It might not be to your taste but it’s not “fancy dress”.
I think William looks great!

thisenglishlife · 15/10/2019 16:21

Both Kate and William look great. The clothes on this trip have been really good.

For me, Kate took somewhat of a style dip this year with the boring midi dresses, some with terrible prints (the garden event ones!). Definate improvement on those.

For once, Wills looks good. He wears that better than a suit. Kate though ... she needs to lay off the Botox.

What? He looks so much better here than in his shabby blue suit (that must cost a small fortune too).

BertrandRussell · 15/10/2019 16:32

The average middle aged Englishman does not really “do” dressing up.....

Settlersofcatan · 15/10/2019 16:38

It's more literal dressing- that green is the colour of the Pakistani flag

PinkSun9 · 15/10/2019 16:40

William doesn't look good or comfortable in the Sherwani. I had imagined him looking dashing in one but he should stick to his usual suit n tie.

Kate however, is spot on so far apart from the aqua combo she landed in. The glittering bottle green gown is lovely.
She needs to improve her posture a little.

itswinetime · 15/10/2019 16:47

Not a fan of Kate's second day look the green coat white trousers it looked a bit like a couple of items mixed together not a complete look ifyswim I did think the dark green shoes were an improvement on the nudes though!

I actually think they both look great this evening Kate's dress is glamours, appropriate and a lovely colour on her glad to see she ditched the nudes for this. Kate's gowns are always one of her stronger looks though I think.

I think the shade of green actually really suits William and he is in something properly tailored for once.

AudacityOfHope · 15/10/2019 16:57

On the off chance that Williams isn't an avid Mumsnet S&B reader, and given that this thread is to discuss royal fashion, I think I'll says whatever I damn well please @Hihellohi
