Gosh I really love Kate's green evening dress - she looks great. It's a perfect fit and the colour really suits her. William looks okay - I don't suppose he (or either of them) had a lot of choice about whether or not to wear traditional dress? I assumed aides/diplomatic staff/people in the FO said it would be a good idea?

Kate is stunning in the dark green though!

Does anyone else think Kate has done some changes to her eyebrows which make her face look a bit harsh?

MangoFeverDream When you say Kate needs to lay off the Botox, is that what gives her that surprised wide eyed look she sometimes has?

Saw this comment about William and Kate:

I think Kate has had an eye lift. That makes me sad as she’s going to end up looking unlike her true self.

I think they look great . Happy and 100% engaged. I personally bet Kate is loving the chance to wear something different . Also the anti monarchist in me is cross about the money spent on stuff unlikely to be re worn!

I think Kate has slightly tweaked her eyebrow shape as the arch looks higher.

@MrsGrindah - though I think the FO pay for the RF tours, including clothes? Don't know if that makes it better or worse!

Kate has not had an eyelift. It's major surgery with 2 to 3 weeks' recovery. It's quite an unusual operation to have in this day and age. I know a cosmetic surgeon and he only does 3 or 4 a year.

I love the lapis blue on Kate or "1980s Catalogue Blue" as I call it.

HOWEVER: with that green dress tonight, she has absolutely knocked it out of the park (and made up for all my previous disappointments). Hurrah!

And Kate looks fantastic too in JP. Wills' suit looks great on him. He really suits that teal colour.

Friends I used to know whose family were from India and Pakistan were not insulted by others wearing traditional dress. It was seen as respectful and appropriate to wear traditional clothes, lots of fuss and compliments followed.

I love those cognac shoes of Meghan's and the quirky bag is a nice touch. But again with the waist tie!

I think W&K both look great but I’d have preferred more contrasting colours than mismatched greens.
