Shoes don’t match. I can understand why she’s covering her feet, it’s probably really dusty, but the local embroidered shoes would’ve looked better with this outfit. She looks stunning though.

I loved Kate's arrival outfit yesterday evening. Very simple, but a beautiful colour and fit.

I didn't mind Max's blue lace number as it is slightly eccentric, a bit like I imagine her to be. The photo of her with Wax looks like it's in a hotel bathroom before they've gone out for the evening but it's probably somewhere posh. 😃

DoYouReallyNeed To Ask, makes a good point about looking at Diana's "revenge" dress in the context of the time. As has frequently been said on these threads, Diana had dressed older than her age since her engagement at 19. Having been slated for her appearance in a low cut black evening dress early on she'd tended to vere towards clothes that presumably the powers that be thought "respectable ". That dress was about saying to the world, "Look what he's thrown away", at a time when the public perception of Camilla wasn't good.

I think the shoes are ok. I suspect her feet are suffering Post flight and the shoe choices reflect that.
