I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

I've just bought these and gone for a size up (XL = 18-20) for comfort.

They are on sale for £22. Not the original corduroy ones, but they still look really quite nice for a rather low price. Oh look I'm a poet! Ahem...sorry.

I mean...there is every chance I will look like some sort of enormous boulder womble hybrid. A boulble if you will, or perhaps a womber. My other fear is ending up looking like a painter decorator! Which would be fine except that I can't paint for toffee. We shall see.

Ah thanks ringlets! My shape is definitely a little womble-y. From the front I'm alright, but from the side, all my weight is on my tummy, but quite low down, like a womble 😂.

I really want to watch that program ringlets, as I keep seeing adverts! I bet that will be great inspiration for you.

I’d love to try dungarees but my proportions are all wrong, I’m long in the body and my legs are not that long for my height.

ringlets My dress pic attached - on a definitely not plus sized model! Surprisingly flattering though but I’m not having it quite so low at the front.

I've just read through this thread and it's so inspiring. Having put on a lot of weight over the last few years I am really struggling at the moment. I used to love clothes and getting dressed up but now I hate it. I feel frumpy and unattractive. I see other plus size and they look great but I am short with huge boobs, massive stomach and no waist so I just look shapeless. I have tried on so many dresses lately and everything looks awful, it's so disheartening. I used to be a dress and opaque tights girl but now nothing looks good.

You all look great and it's great to see some positivity around plus sized fashion, I wish I could look as good!

I try to forget about my tummy as much as possible also having piled on the weight. Size 22 nearly a 20 (trying to loose weight) 6ft tall and menopausal. I wear things I like that are comfortable (I used to love jeans but they either dig in so much they almost cut off my circulation or fall down). I usually opt for shapeless non figure hugging clothes. I wear a lot of jersey fabrics. Although more slimming it drains me so I avoid black. Instead I wear a lot of navy, purple and teal and other lovely colours. I enjoy wearing the nice things that I can still wear and few good in such as lovely earrings, necklaces, scarves, nice boots (all with snag tights), nice lipstick and all worn with a big smile. Not sure what size you are but recently White Stuff, Seasalt and Monsoon all do plus sizes. Some bargains to be had in other stores too a few on here have got bargains from Sainsburys recently.

Jeans are M&S stretchy ones (16) from years ago; top is H&M (XL) a couple of months ago - pretty cheap from what I remember.

I'm 5'9", huge boobs, a little over 13st (but losing gradually - just not off my boobs )
