Plus size what are you wearing today

Hi guys,
I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

I am struggling with getting a picture - we don’t have a full length mirror (I use the patio doors!) I keep meaning to invest but bedroom needs redecorating first.

Anyway I’m wearing Dorothy Perkins treggings, an M&S red long sleeve t-shirt and Dorothy Perkins grey kimono style cardigan plus fly London boots. Not going to win any fashion prizes this is just my teaching ‘whatever I don’t mind getting covered in paint and pva’ wardrobe. Because I’ve got a sort throat and the classroom is freezing today I’ve thrown a leopard print scarf over.

Poor attempt to get pictures - stood on my (unmade ) bed! All you can really see if the heart fairy lights in front of the mirror!

The hearts fairy lamps are very sweet, though!

Can I recommend this jumper from Tesco? It comes in many colours I may have bought them all and does the same thing as that stripey one I wore the other day. Nice deep neck, bit of shape to the sleeves, nice and skim down the area where the waist is supposed to be!

Not a great pic- but it works for any other busty pears out there!

StevieG i have the same problem especially with the c section apron (i had 5 c/s) and what fits my legs and around my bum won't do up on the waist. I have found the next denim jeggings work for me, they are high waisted with a good amount of stretch so fit my waist without loads of wrinkles on the legs. I wear these ones as they leave about a 1"gap between bottom of leg and top of ankle boots, also these are a 16 but i would never get into a 16 in jeans, more like a 20. Also, finally! They are only about £20

I have a lot of tattoos and I'm a wimp every single time. I sat for 6 hours once with a few breaks, and eventually the lovely woman tattooing me said 'I'm going to stop now'. I said 'Why?' and she said 'Because you're starting to look at me like if I come near you with a needle again you will punch me in the face.'

Reader. I had no violent intentions, but I had definitely reached my limit.

I also love GF jeans buckeejit. Mine are from Gap, but would definitely try Sainsbury's.

@picklemepopcorn good jumper -exactly the sort of neckline I need as a busty pear. Would really like some short sleeve jumpers like this if anyone sees any!

@cerys, it's very synthetic- polyester, nylon, acrylic mix. It feels nice though!

Buckeejit there's a T-shirt the same- deep square, short sleeve.

I'm in comfies today, have 5 of dc school friends over. Have made crazy chocolate cake & had a wand making workshop & they'll go soon & I will go for reflexology, huzzah! It's been a long time coming!

I’m getting married in December.
Last time I was due to get married (never quite made it down the aisle but got as far as buying a dress) I was around a 16 and nothing in the shops really went near me and it was quite depressing.

This time I’m bigger - a good 18 sometimes
20, and I found that so many of the shops had a better range of samples and it was overall a fairly pleasant experience. Even if the dresses didn’t quite fit/fasten I could at least get them on.

My dress is Justin Alexander and it’s a beauty, wasn’t at all what I wanted or expected to end up with but was just perfect.

Meant to also say ringlets -
If you’re concerned it’s worth phoning the shops in advance to ask what size their samples go up to.
But honestly I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised - I was!
