Ooh Gin, I just twigged you said you got the velvet blazer - is that the Hush one? What’s it like? Is it as beautiful as it looks online?

Soy that skirt looks soo lovely & Talisin reckon the cord dress will look fab as well.

So Hush order has arrived. This is the coated jeans with linen rich tee in white and also the charcoal. The tees are slightly thicker fabric than the slub tees and a bit shorter. They feel lovely on. I'm keeping it all! Nothing super exciting but all very wearable and will fit into my wardrobe easily.
Have also included the velvet top from M&S in burgundy to show the colour.

The coated jeans are a different fit from last year and shorter in the leg I think? Much better for my shape anyway.

All looks great @huff. Are the jeans true to size?

@soyo, the velvet skirt came.Its fine on me. I think I could have got away with the smaller size. Its slightly roomy on the hips on me and I am curvier than you there. So maybe you are better keeping the 10?

It has what looks like hanger marks on the waist though. Very strange indeed!!!

I’m tempted by the jacket but I didn’t know I wanted a jacket like that until I saw the Brora one! It seems a bit of unnecessary spending!

My velvet skirt had gone back to the parcels office as there was no one in when they tried to deliver. So will need to hustle down there tomorrow morning to collect. Oh well, could’ve been worse - at least it’s mot a working Saturday for me.

I've sold 4 Hush things since Monday plus a Joules jumper. All for about half what I paid for so I'm quite pleased. I now have more space and feel a bit more organised! I think if you look after Hush stuff there is a market for it so I don't feel so bad. And I had my M&S slip skirt ( Navy) arrive which I got in long ( I am 5'1"!) which looks great but I will have to wear decent knickers! Am planning that for Xmas day as we are having it actually On Xmas day this year, first for 7 years. And anice pair of jogging bottoms from white stuff and an unusual sleeveless top from them in navy linen jersey which will be nice with jeans I think

Oh and all that stuff was ordered before my no buy October but I didn't pay postage so it came very slowly

Just walked through Monsoon and they have a very very similar-to-hush velvet blazer but around £50 cheaper.

Can’t remember if anyone was looking for pleated satin skirts, but Zara have some in really pretty colours also have sequin skirts.

Ooh pretty monsoon jacket Talisin M&S have black tux jackets I think they were £79.00 & navy velvet jackets.

huff such great coated bikers! And the tshirts you’re right much better in the shorter length. With the velvet top just fab. Coated jeans are super versatile and sorely tempted to follow your and gin’s lead...

Never thanks for the heads up on the velvet skirt, if I keep I’m keeping the 10 then 👍 are you keeping? I think the cut/colour are perfect just not so sure they’re worth the £ even with 10% discount as the velvet quality is fine but not superb

soups what a find that velvet embroidered jacket! Try it or it’ll haunt you forever. The shoes in my pic are a couple of years old: suede Mint Velvet kitten heels, very comfy.

I have a Massimo Dutti navy blue velvet blazer bought in the sale a few years ago and worn ONCE. I can't seem to get it to work somehow. Wonder if I should Ebay it...

I have ordered the embroidered velvet jacket that I linked to 'to try'

@twosoups search for it on eBay and see what has sold. That's what I did. @SoyYo I will try. It's hard to find the time at the moment. DH less happy at taking all the parcels to the PO!
