Majority of things (that don’t sell out!) will end up in the sale eventually, bar a few staples they do every year.

Sooverthemill · 03/10/2019 11:47

@Eesha it is hard to predict. If you absolutely love it and it's low stock I would get it now but if you won't curl up and die without it, take a punt on the sale.

I've spent an hour in my chest of drawers and found a pair of hush cropped skinnies that I've put up on Facebook hush for sale page. I tried them on and although gorgeous don't feel right for me at the moment . Unworn so I'm asking for half what I paid, and feel virtuous

Eesha · 03/10/2019 11:51

www.hush-uk.com/womenswear/daywear/tops/yael-embroidered-shirt-white-mykonos-blue.htm it's this but it's just occurred to me that I don't have an iron so might not be worn as much as I'd like!

twosoups1972 · 03/10/2019 11:57

@SoyYo most of the Toast stuff is going back - the velvet tops are lovely but just didn't work for me. I also tried a merino jumper but the neckline was all wrong.

However I am still deciding about the berry dress, will post a photo in a minute. I do quite like it but not sure how much wear I'll get out of it.

Do you think it will work with tights/boots in the winter?

neveradullmoment99 · 03/10/2019 12:06

I love the dress @soups. As you know I have it. I think its lovely. I think it will totally work for winter. I will be wearing mine. I wear it with a longish slip under it for extra warmth. Its a beautiful colour.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/10/2019 12:06

Its classic I think.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/10/2019 12:10

@Eesha It is hard to tell but if it has been on the website for quite a long time [ Not sure when it came on] I reckon its not a fast seller. Most of the shirts end up in the sale. You could keep an eye on it but its not a 'Christmassy item' so it may well be reduced. If you absolutely love it and would be gutted if it goes, then I would buy it.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/10/2019 12:12

I got a fresh new pair of bam bamboo socks this morning! Just as well, my other 'sample' has holes in the toes. Not a great advert for longevity.

Sooverthemill · 03/10/2019 12:42

@eesha you can wash then dry on a hanger and if you tumble on a low heat just for five minutes, shake it out and hang it straight up, you can probably get away without ironing! ( how I did MH DHs work shirts when I couldn't iron)

Sooverthemill · 03/10/2019 12:42

Souls I love that dress! Definitely can wear for winter er

dontcallmelen · 03/10/2019 13:39

Soupsyy that dress definitely work in colder weather & good idea from never wearing a slip under it or even a vest top in contrasting colour would look fine keep I say👍🏼

twosoups1972 · 03/10/2019 14:17

Thanks all, am keeping the dress Smile

missfliss · 03/10/2019 19:01

Hello - not been around much for a long while ( long tale involving my darling boy with ASD and a legal battle with WSCC to secure a place in a suitable SEN School).

It's burned me out and taken a year.

However I am sharing pics of 2 hush purchases that arrived today - keeping both. The Tux - perfect length and not too shiny lapels.

The pink cami. Just love love love the colour. Tempted by satin skirt in same shade but in truth not much occasion to wear

Sorry to hear about the stress with your boy. Hope its all sorted out now Flowers
Gorgeous colour of cami. I have the satin skirt. Its gorgeous. I will be dressing it down tbh as i dont have any occasion to wear it otherwise!
The Tux also looks fab!

Sooverthemill · 03/10/2019 20:38

Looks lovely. What a fab colour

SoyYo · 03/10/2019 20:48

Hi missflit looking good! I have the Tux and agree it’s really the perfect understated Tux 👍 it looks fab with the vest. Really sorry to hear about your challenges with DS though and sounds like you’re coming out of a very difficult period. It’s great when posters reappear so welcome!

soups I’m glad you kept the Toast dress. It’s a beautiful colour and I think it balances your figure beautifully. I like never and len suggestions for winter and a shortish cardy in pink/navy blue or cream would also look great with it.

So attaching pic of the new Hush velvet skirt. I really love the colour and fit! The velvet is velour velvet feel to me instead of silk velvet.
I know Talisin and never have theirs on the way so await your verdict.

@twosoups1972 the Toast dress is a lovely fit on you! Definitely keep! Such a beautiful colour 😍

Looking good @missfliss! Fab buys

GinandGingerBeer · 03/10/2019 21:30

@Talisin let me know how you got on with the NL cord dress I ❤️it & im v tempted. A much better shape for me than the Hush one.
@missfliss welcome back, so sorry to hear about what must have been a gruelling year. You look fab. Love the tux & the vest top.

That colour would look great with the velvet blazer I took receipt of yesterday.... or the Shelley blazer I also took receipt of Grin
Sorry for lack of pics but you can't see them properly as my room is too dark. Will try again at the weekend

Was it @miffy who ordered the red and pink skirt?

GinandGingerBeer · 03/10/2019 21:33

Soy beautiful outfit. Love it. We need a night out..... wink
You in the skirt, me in the blazer Gin

SoyYo · 03/10/2019 22:15

What a brilliant idea Gin! You’re on we can swap tuxes half way through the evening GinGrin

missfliss · 04/10/2019 06:40

Thankyou so much all for the kind welcome. Really nice and I love that velvet skirt SoYo.
I have an industry awards event to attend at work soon and bought this blue velvet wrap dress from sosandar which is similar I guess.

I think to be honest it's going to take a long time to recover from the stress of the past year. Obviously working FT doesn't help.

My husband has started his NQT year in SEN education too and we are planning a loft conversion next year so more positive/ stressful stuff in the pipeline !

ilovecherries · 04/10/2019 07:28

missfliss, lovely to see you back. Sorry though that life has been so stressful. You look lovely in that dress.

@GinandGingerBeer I love the NL dress! I went up a size as NL always comes up small on the bust and shoulders for me but if you’re not similarly ‘blessed’ then for this dress probably go for your actual size. It’s a much thicker cord than I was expecting for the price & once I de-crumpled it, it hangs really well. Basically it actually really looks like it does on the website rather than a poorer quality copy.

Also received the glitter hoodie from Hush and love that as well. I was worried it would be the same scratchy material they used for the glitter dress the last two years but it’s much softer & surprisingly warm although it’s thin. Looks really good with something fitted on the lower half - skinny jeans or the ruched skirt for example.
