Oh, I've dropped off the thread again... i really need to pay more attention. Have loved catching up with the photos and chat.
soy - have to say, that fur bomber is amazing. Looks so good with the pink skirt. And so cosy...
soover - thanks for the book thread. I've put it on my watch list and will keep an eye for recommendations! Like others i used to read lots, but I just don't seem to have the concentration for it much any more. i used to be in a worthy actual life book group and everything, but stopped going when I had DS and never got back into it...I keep thinking i should start again but don't want to be the one that has only got halfway through...
Love the blue snake scarves...who'd have thought there would be so many around! The M&S is almost identical to the hush one... I'm a big fan of the huuuuge becksondergaard ones though...yy, they are as close to wearing a blanket in public as you can get. Didn't know TK maxx had them. That may almost tempt me to have a look round - my blood pressure always increases in that shop though. It's just too cluttery. len - yours looks amazing too. And that jigsaw dress is beautiful.
noodle - the M&S checked coat is lovely. Love the brown and pink combo. And the velvet jacket, of course.
laska - Ah, glad you picked up the blue dress in the right size in the end. And I presume the chocolate was the same cost as the postage you didn't need to pay, so basically free. And therefore no calories. Win, win
... And a toast sale you say..? Why don't i get these emails?! stamps foot . I may go for that cardigan in that case...
The moto leather jacket is nice, but i have to say I'm not really tempted (probably just as well, frankly). I think it's the finish on the leather that just looks a bit "animal skinny" to me (yes, I know, I know...). The cut is lovely though.
Right - I'm having difficulty deciding on my sale things. Annoyingly, i like quite a lot.. I'm definitely keeping the star leggings and a black tee (I don't have a plain black tee to wear for pilates over long line vests, and the cut of this one is nice and drapey). Also keeping the ribbed polo neck jumper which is nice and warm for under pinafore dresses and charcoal and cream-y stripes rather than black & white which suits me better. I know it is ancient stock, so not sure why I've missed it for so long... I'm definitely sending back the waffle tee which I don't like the fabric of at all.
But the things I'm not sure about...
The navy boat neck top. Yes, its just a long sleeved tee, but I like the neckline and feel it sort of balances me out a bit. But its still £29...for a navy top...really?
Martina skirt. I do like this - its nice and floaty and a lovely floral print with lots of possible colours to match (navy/ blue/ green/pink - it goes well with the boat neck top actually), but do I need another floaty skirt? And I'm not sure I can style it without looking frumpy...
Velour joggers. These are so not me it's untrue...but something in me does love them and oddly they aren't horrifically unflattering. They are really soft and strokeable and are lounging trousers that I could actually wear out too. Though I know they will get covered in cat hair immediately. I'm verging on sending them back - but they are only £18.
Zebra dress - would I wear it? Really? I'm getting where laska is coming from on the little house on the prairie goes on safari, but i think it sort of works with a belt and jacket. But would it be one of many of those "languishing in a wardrobe until being charity shopped" things? Don't need any more of them...
