I have a 14 Pelle that has only been opened to retrieve the returns form. It won’t be going back today as I have a doz ebay parcels to tote to the post office and I can’t carry that as well. I will give you a shout out when I post it, giggle.

@Laska2Meryls it's not very exciting is it? I think send it back. I'm trying to only buy and then keep stuff that is really really nice, not just 'good enough'. I have enough 'Good enough' stuff already!

twosoups1972 · 14/10/2019 15:28

@soover I agree, you should feel the love with clothes, we have so much choice these days, no point keeping stuff you’re meh about Smile

SoyYo · 14/10/2019 16:16

Yes Laska return if not sure. I thought wearing it as an open shirt kind of style as a coat with jeans/tops underneath could work too with the dress but is that your style? Sounds like hard work just to make a bargain sale item you’re not sure about. It looks okay on but not a wow style and also possibly a bit thin now winter is coming. Would be a great stay at home/pop to the shops kind of dress if you need that sort of outfit in your life.

Which reminds me today’s Hush parcel is going back too. I bought a Felix in M in black to compare to the red one in S. Tbh I can’t see the difference between a S and M but anyway nice and soft as it is the straight tunic style just doesn’t work on my shape at all.
And a black long sleeve waffle top in S which fits fine (it’s not tight so size down if you decide to try) but a bit meh and I do have a LOT of black tops already...nice soft fabric but I have quite a few Uniglo long sleeve heattech tops I can wear under dresses/jumpers that fulfill exactly the same purpose and are much cheaper than the LS waffle top sale price.
All a bit meh really today...

Laska2Meryls · 14/10/2019 16:39

Hmmm.. no one likes the Bloomsbury then? I had thought I'd keep it!! maybe not then..

Laska2Meryls · 14/10/2019 17:11

Hello. Delurking for a second to say I enjoy this thread a lot and that haters, indeed, gonna hate, so I hope none of you are bothered. The main reason I only lurk is because I have a small clothes budget (non existent this winter since my husband lost his job Sad), and, funnily enough, I'm not particularly fond of Hush stuff. I still do however really enjoy the discussions about style and trends and how to put outfits together and I have got lots of useful and lovely fashion ideas from here. So, as always, I hope you'll carry on.

twosoups1972 · 14/10/2019 17:43

@Laska2Meryls I love the trainers too, keep!

Welcome @Roussillon849 feel free to chat about anything that takes your fancy.

Laska2Meryls · 14/10/2019 18:01

Hi Roussillon do stay and chat ! We dont only like Hush ( and often we dont like it at all!),but we do love clothes.. but Yeah, It just looks like its our turn to get the MN big stick!!..

We dont care.... people can hate us for your style choices if they want to .. ( but anyone is getting paid commission on here , it certainly ain't me nor anyone I know here, and I've been a Hushista for some years now!!)

Laska2Meryls · 14/10/2019 18:02

Our style choices !! Not yours!! Oops typo... Blush

ilovecherries · 14/10/2019 18:22

Hi roussillon, thank you for that, and you are very welcome to stay. As you notice, we talk about everything and you don’t have to be spendy to join in, by any means.

Sooverthemill · 14/10/2019 18:23

@Roussillon849 welcome! I was a long time lurker too until recently but have followed this for years I reckon. We do love clothes of all sorts not just Hush but thank you for the love. That other thread has made me so grumpy and I've asked for all my comments to be deleted so I don't see it anymore. People are daft.

I totally get the tiny budget. Until very recently I had no clothes and no money and it was only when I decided to set aside a proportion of my carers allowance for my clothes that I've started buying stuff. I'm not as careful as I should be but clothes cheer me up, they always have done, stay and have a chat

Sooverthemill · 14/10/2019 18:24

@Laska2Meryls sorry! I like the dune trainers too ( I have last years leopard print ones, so comfortable) but not the kin ones so much.

SoyYo · 14/10/2019 18:35

Hello @Roussillon849 Thank you for your kind words and yes never worry about not being able to buy to be able to contribute to the thread. We all just love clothes and in RL I don’t have anyone to share that love with other than the girls here (DH always says keep Hmm which sounds great in theory but i need honest opinions!) plus it’s a very supportive and lovely place to hang out.

Laska I vote for the blue/star trainers to stay. They’re 👌👌👌
And before I forget the Tu twin pack I have is a different colour than the white/Black I linked earlier. They’re exactly the same style so in theory different colour shouldn’t make a difference so linking just in case there is a difference with the different colour packs you can always also try these in store tomorrow

SoyYo · 14/10/2019 18:38

Sorry bralette twin packs, I have the blue/pink pack I linked to above.
It would help if I made myself clearer 🤦🏻‍♀️

ilovecherries · 14/10/2019 19:00

Oh, these are the ones I’ve started to wear as well, soy. Amazing for the price. I even found a pack in store one grey leopard, and one normal leopard, which I love. I’m wearing an XL at a 32FF.

Thank you all, you are very kind. FlowersSmile

I love clothes too, and enjoy planning and wearing an outfit I feel happy and stylish in every day, whether I'm working on a weekday or doing the food shop at the weekend. I can see that regardless of budgets we all have this love in common! (Oh, and I also LOVE a bargain!)

SoyYo, those bralettes look very comfortable, thank you. I might look into them for my 14yo who has been blessed in ways I wasn't Grin

miffy2 · 14/10/2019 19:07

My Felix and coated jeans should finally be with me tomorrow. I hope the shape and fit of the Felix have not changed as it suits me (see how we are all so different!) and I hope he waist of the jeans is higher than the older version.

On another non-sponsored note ;) I have bought a ton of things from H&M in their 15% off weekend. Most of it went back (you should have seen me and the gigantic box I lugged back yesterday) but I may have settled on: a beige oversized cashmere jumper, some workout leggings, a black teddy coat and mayyyybe a jumper or two. I have a couple more orders to arrive and compare before deciding 100%. In fairness to them, their Irish deliveries are really quick and I have a decent shop near enough to me so I can haul back any returns. Their returns process is also very speedy.

Roussillon849 · 14/10/2019 19:13

Would love to see pics of it all, but particularly the beige oversized cashmere jumper, miffy2. If I do end up getting anything this winter I'm thinking of a pair of faux leather skinnies/leggings and a big jumper.

dontcallmelen · 14/10/2019 19:24

@Roussillon849 hello please don’t be shy, I probably only buy a couple of hush bits a year, due to being broke/limited income but this thread is lovely & we talk about all sorts & heads up with lots of bargains & dupes that may be around, hope things improve very soon on the job front💐
Laska love the blue trainers.
Yy Sainsbury’s bras dd wears them a lot & finds them really comfy.

Roussillon849 · 14/10/2019 19:35

Thank you!

Laska2Meryls · 14/10/2019 19:42

Rousillin* for a budget version.. last year I got a pair of these M&S coated leggings] and wore them to death! (in fact they were s good that I invested in another pair at the end of the season in the sale ) They also have animal print ones this year which also look good .. (only Long left in most sizes , but easy to take up) ..

Laska2Meryls · 14/10/2019 19:44

Roussillon that last post was for you ! (and any other canny Hushistas of course ) Smile
soy thanks I prdered the black and white , but willl ook in sainsburys for the pink, blue ,also and try on .. I got the xxl as you said .. being 36e..

Roussillon849 · 14/10/2019 19:45

Oooh those look amazing, Laska, especially the snakeskin ones!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2019 19:53

@Laska, I quite like the bloomsbury on you tbh. I think the colour is a bit bland if you know what i mean but with a nice pendant, i dont see why not as it would jazz it up. I sold my hush Ivy in that colour because it kind of reminded me of a scouts uniform green. If you arent 100% then don't keep. Certainly the shape of it is good on you. I love the trainers. Most definitely keep them!
@Ellapaella was considering the floral dress from Oliver Bonas. What size did you get? 10 or a 12? Is it jersey and has stretch or is it rigid?
@miffy2 i saw that cashmere jumper but it was OOS when i looked. Pity as it was a great buy!
@Roussillon849 Welcome. We are happy to have you on board :)
