Obviously my post is so interesting it needs saying twice 🤣

MarshaBradyo · 17/11/2019 20:48

Oh my, to go with the Christmas jumpers I need to say watch Klaus on Netflix - a Christmas film which made me cry. Ds (9) loved it too.

Karcheer · 17/11/2019 21:01

Definitely thick black tights dry I quite like being cosy in them.

I saw that green sequin tube skirt styled with a green oversized jumper looked amazing and made it almost daywear.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 17/11/2019 22:42

hello all! feels like forever since ive popped in!

Been havign a lot of health issues, its looking likely that i've got the start of some kind of arthritis in my hands, under goign some tests at the moment to determine if it is that or something i already have wrong causing additional symptoms but sadly the arthritis is looking to be the likely culprit.

Have been mostly buying christmas gifts rather than anything for myself but have ended up with a few pinafore dresses from good old sainsburys and a velvet stretchy velvet skirt that is a large chevron pattern in pinks and reds. It is a lot nicer than it sounds especially with a plain black top and i think with a dash of sequins up top it will do for christmas wear if i get invited anywhere!

Love to you all!!!

MarshaBradyo · 18/11/2019 09:39

Welcome back One nice to see you, sorry to hear about your health issues Flowers but nice Christmas spirit

DryWhiteagainW · 18/11/2019 21:02

Opaques and trainers? Shock really couldn’t do that. It will have to be boots or trainers and bare legs

MarshaBradyo · 18/11/2019 21:17

Oh right missed the trainers part. Yo agree think you’d have to do boots.

Blingysolightly · 18/11/2019 21:28

Very funny Dry!

I am on a work thing and staying at a gorgeous hotel till Wednesday. Have packed my usual bag of "Stuff" except my nails chipped and i have no nail polish remover. The world has ended!Grin

Karcheer · 18/11/2019 22:16

I missed the trainers too!

Finally bought my replacement bag, I went for the Disco in the end.

MarshaBradyo · 19/11/2019 10:19

Oh fab Karcheer

I’m on a rare day off, Dh with dd, I’m at an appointment in town.

Wearing Max Mara navy cashmere jumper for first time (so warm), Rag&Bone high rise indigo skinnies and Lanvin navy knee highs yay - still love and Celine navy trio. Plus Margiela pea coat. I feel really good.

Maybe I should go to an interview to wear stuff and talk about myself (half jesting)

MarshaBradyo · 19/11/2019 10:52

Speaking of boots I love these what do you think? Celine

Karcheer · 19/11/2019 17:29

I like the boots, but how easy are they to get on and off? I love my Valentino long boots but can only wear them when I know I’ll have help to get them off!

MarshaBradyo · 19/11/2019 18:00

True! I could only wear the ones I did today as Dh here to take them off

Karcheer · 19/11/2019 18:09

I’m really having a faff! I need to order some shampoo. I don’t know whether to go for my usual kerastase or try something different...

MarshaBradyo · 19/11/2019 18:39

I haven’t used that but I’ve always really liked Aveda

Karcheer · 19/11/2019 19:46

Funnily enough the last time I swapped in the summer it was for aveda,

shopafrolic · 19/11/2019 20:15

Highly recommend Davines shampoo and conditioner. I’ve tried Kerastase, Aveda, Oribe, Bumble & Bumble etc etc but really rate the Davines. I use the purple LOVE one.

shopafrolic · 19/11/2019 20:16

Would love to see those boots on Marsha they are a classic shape but I wonder how wide they are at the ankle and calf?

maradesbois · 19/11/2019 20:25

Hi there,

Always lovely to get a compliment mrsm, especially from a millennial!

Marsha I love the boots. Can you link big scarf?

One lovely to see you back.

Karcheer I swear by klorane, à French pharma brand. Really works for me, there’s an oatmilk shampoo and camomile conditioner that are my faves.

In case anybody is looking for a new jumper I can really recommend Cos cashmere. I have this navy one, so very soft and doesn’t bobble.

Themarvellousmrsm · 19/11/2019 20:59

I've been wearing opaques and black/leopard print trainers - Blush but think it looks ok - usually with my pleated skirt pretty much like this look or Whistles dresses

Gorgeous Celine boots Marsha; I had a little fantasy shopping session on the Celine website and came across this knit - I had to double check the price Shock Shock
On a more wallet friendly note, I rather like this silk blouse - would suit Kitty

MarshaBradyo · 19/11/2019 21:06

The price of that MrsM! Made from Unicorn breath. Love the blouse for Kitty. I like that tights look in an offbeat way.

Mara love the Cos tip I feel I want to go shopping, Mount St across to Regent St.

Shop true might be a can’t get foot in boot situation would love to try them on.

If you could get just one brand free for rest of your life which would it be? You can still buy other stuff. Mine would be Celine.

Themarvellousmrsm · 19/11/2019 21:28

Good question Marsha - probably Whistles or maybe Jigsaw.

I found a White Company long cardigan on eBay recently BNWT - a steal at £30 so very happy.

Forgot to say hi and welcome back to 'One' - sorry to hear you're still struggling healthwise - don't be a stranger

MarshaBradyo · 19/11/2019 21:50

Nice one MrsM

Mara Meant to link scarf Marant very oversized so warm. Luckily 60% reduction as pricey

MarshaBradyo · 19/11/2019 21:50

From Matches

Karcheer · 19/11/2019 21:55

My local chemist which sells everything sells klorane will definitely give that a try, I need to pop in there tomorrow anyway.
