Good compliment MrsM

It’s Sunday and I’m feeling festive. I’ve been following that nutter Trinny on Insta, not to mention Blair’s influence, and they’re making me lust after (and buy) sequins. And she’s right, they are joyful things......

Ohh nice links Dry

I’m wearing the oversize throw I mean Marant scarf for first time it might be a bit much Grin

Blingysolightly · 17/11/2019 13:47

That first dress is absolutely stunning. I am going to a black tie Xmas do in a couple of weeks time and thought ooh that would do nicely, then looked at the price tagGrin

Love the Christmas jumper. Last year I restrained myself and stuck to the 6 I already ownBlush but that's tempted me! Dh already said to the kids "Alert! Alert! Its 1 December in 2 weeksGrin" as that's when the Christmas music starts in our house, the jumpers come out and the poinsettia flowers take over the house!

Today wearing maxmara cream cashmere sweater with jeans definitely not christmas hint in sight!

Practical fashion question:
Trainers and skirts/dresses. I’m doing this today with a cosy, chunky jumper, BUT I’ve been inside all day. Going out....what do you do? I’m hard but bare legs, albeit under a longish skirt, is not going to happen. What do you do?

DryWhiteagainW · 17/11/2019 17:09

Dry, you know I wouldn't go outGrin

MarshaBradyo · 17/11/2019 17:11

Oh right gotchoo
Do tights work? I don’t even know has been forever since I’ve worn a skirt / dress in winter

I felt nuts in my scarf but my god it was warm soft and light so I no longer care

shopafrolic · 17/11/2019 18:24

That Balmain sequin dress is amazing and the Zara blazer. Fab links.
Just back from a weekend in Brighton. Stayed at the Grand, amazing service and fab cocktails, dinner at Coppa Club (the igloos have just opened), and ice cream at Boho Gelato - perfect.

shopafrolic · 17/11/2019 18:25

I love jumpers and a skirt but your dilemma is the whole reason why I don’t do it.

shopafrolic · 17/11/2019 18:27

shopafrolic · 17/11/2019 18:28

I wear opaques Dry - not my favourite item of clothing but nerds must when it's cold.

Am on train home from London wil Dh & wearing 7/8's with no socks (😲) and MV trainers-always hot in town. Mind you am also wearing the big fluffy Uniqlo coat which helps!

Nice sequiny links
