kitty I bought the mini version of that bag and it was tiny (sold on ebay for a profit!) so it's good to know the "small" is not too small!

kittyhello · 08/11/2019 14:57

Blair would you consider buying a bigger size then or was the bag not for you? Fab that you made a profit from it though. I also like it in red and was thinking about replacing my black bag with a red one. I'm trying to convince myself that red goes with most colours I wear, i.e. black, navy, grey, denim etc.

shopafrolic · 08/11/2019 17:17

I seem to now be addicted to DuoLingo Hmm

Karcheer · 08/11/2019 17:47

Umm that could be a good bag option for me, it would be the red for me too I think.

kittyhello · 08/11/2019 17:50

Grin Shop what language are you learning? I'm doing French and may start doing Spanish too! It's a fab app, whenever I have to wait around somewhere I pass the time by doing DuoLingo. Just got a few exercises in just now whilst hanging around for my for my dc ay tennis tennis.

kittyhello · 08/11/2019 17:52

Karcheer it's a lovely bag. I think I'd go for red too.

shopafrolic · 08/11/2019 19:48

I’m doing French Kitty (already speak a fair amount but v rusty).

maradesbois · 08/11/2019 20:15

Kitty can totally see you in Grensons.

Dry such a beautiful dress, can imagine princess Margaret in it in 1950s. Can’t wait for The Crown new season.

Having a cosy night in with dh while the rain beats down outside. Glass of port, good tunes and jo malone candle, very nice! Is anyone getting a beauty advent calendar this year?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/11/2019 21:17

kitty it was a couple of years ago, I think I got another bag instead. The profit was because I bought it with one of those Matches discount codes! It was lovely but just so tiny. And only £85 less than the one you're looking at which is crazy.

shopafrolic · 08/11/2019 21:40

love this styled casually for Mara maybe?

Karcheer · 08/11/2019 22:07

I’m out for lunch with my parents, DH, brother and sil for my mums birthday, I’d like to wear my mv leggings, just not sure how to wear them, any ideas?

shopafrolic · 09/11/2019 09:15

I may have missed the link Karcheer but if they’re leather I wear mine with a chunky knit sweater and trainers usually. Or on a night out, silk blouse, stiletto ankle boots and a blazer.

Blingysolightly · 09/11/2019 10:06

Morning! It's such a chilly day! Have been out and about for a couple of hours and keeping warm in YSL cashmere Breton sweater with black j crew matchstick jeans, John Lewis black wool coat (still remember that it was £180 about 5 years ago and I have had so much value out of it), Burberry cashmere check scarf and carrying Alaia beige laser cut tote. My boots are the decidedly uncool Ugg long "Cardigan" boots, but i love them so you can't chuck me off the threadGrin.

Full on bling today. Boodles blossom cluster ring, tag watch and diamond tear drop earrings and diamond pendant that were gifts from dmil - as she said that they are good for dressing up a casual outfit!Grin

Does anyone else have a growing collection of "poppy" bling or is it just me? Every year, i buy something extra in addition to the poppy as I travel a lot at this time of the year, and always tend to lose the poppy! This year, it's a poppy friendship bracelet from the British Legion. Today it's stacked with a diamond tennis bracelet.

Dd doing something this morning, so I have time to kill....so have been waiting for the shops to open. Have a happy and warm Saturday everyone!Smile

Karcheer · 09/11/2019 11:03

I’m going for grey chunky jumper and Chanel long heeled boots, plus blinging it up with tag watch, H black clic clac, Tiffany lilac dress Ring and boodles roulette earrings...

I have nothing poppy apart from about 12 paper flowers I buy one every time I see a man :/

Blingysolightly · 09/11/2019 14:12

Back from the shops!

Blingysolightly · 09/11/2019 16:37

Oops sorry Marsha got distracted! Here it is! I decided to get 3 and stack them. They come in 3 different sizes and I got 1 medium and 2 petite as thats what looked best on me. Absolutely love them! Dh has looked at the 7 rings I am now wearing and wisely said nothingGrin

Oooh beautiful Blingy!! So jel love them Grin

shopafrolic · 09/11/2019 17:35

They’re beautiful Blingy

So the Spanx faux leather leggings arrived - gutted to say they are too short for me. For faux they are actually v good. Quite thin fabric but don’t look it on. You really feel the panels holding you in. If I was shorter I would definitely have kept them.
The Hush oversized jumper is fab. Definite keeper.
Karcheer outfit sounds fab. I gave the Poppy collectors some more cash today but told them to keep the poppies after your post above Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 09/11/2019 18:15

Dry yay so glad! I love inspiring people's buys! It is fab isn't it Grin

Blingy oh wow I love them, bet the colours look amazing on you!

Karcheer hope you had a lovely lunch Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 09/11/2019 18:17

Shop that is a shame, the curse of long legs Sad (not a problem I have Hmm)

What was in the bags Blingy?!

DryWhiteagainW · 09/11/2019 18:52

They’d probably be too long for me Hmm that’s disappointing Shop

Right, tonight I’m hosting a bbq for 10 ...you should have seen the butcher’s face when I told him. Dress code is anything with wellies because it’s very boggy outside.....I’m smart/cas and will be pretending I’ve got heels on .....once you’re sitting down you can’t see feet anyway .

Oh and I discovered we might have mice in the arctic hut .....Shock won’t mention that!
