Can I wear this out of the house? M&S Loungewear

I've just bought this from M&S and it's the comfiest thing to wear around the house. Do you think I could get away with wearing it out and about as it's classed as nightwear on the website? I was thinking about wearing on a long haul flight in a couple of months' time.

People wear shit with hoods for bed? How the hell does that look like a nightie?!

I don't think I would actually wear it to bed. I have good heating and am quite warm in bed (if heating broke down, I would), but it is suitable for bed, especially if you're cold. I'd put it on to loaf around in the morning or at night. It looks gorgeous! I'm picking mine up from M&S on Wednesday.

I've just found the price tag in the bin - it's classed day/lounge wear (for "day dreams and duvet days" apparently).

I wouldn't wear it to bed, far too hot.

Btw - if you do happen to see anyone wearing this at the airport, it won't be me. Message received loud and clear that it's a big no for outside the house.

It's too nightwear even for me, and my mantra for long haul is all about comfort. I normally wear a hoodie dress and leggings plus compression socks, so am far from stylish

I just wore this dress from Arket on a long haul flight and it was my best purchase all summer. I had a cropped top ( no underwire bra) leggings and a cardigan for the flight which was a bit chilly, but was perfect for the hot weather on arrival. It’s cotton and doesn’t need ironing. I shall try and wear it as long as possible into autumn.

I wear jogging bottoms out of the house for those days when I need comfort. Such as today
