Sorry about filthy mirror!! Blush

Ellapaella · 23/09/2019 16:40

@twosoups1972 the boots are lovely - you should definitely keep. It's not possible to have too many boots, fact.

Ellapaella · 23/09/2019 16:42

@Huffthepuff that all looks fantastic on you, the dress is beautiful and is perfect for your enviable figure. You look better in Toast clothes than any of the models they use!

dontcallmelen · 23/09/2019 19:51

Laska the baker boy hat is totally fab👍🏼 Soups the boots are great & colour makes a good change from the usual black or brown 👍🏼
huff dress looks lovely on you & really like the colour.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/09/2019 20:21

Hello everyone :) Love all the new photos. Picture of the dresses are lovely @not and really love the burgundy dress. I have it and have worn it a few times already. I absolutely love the colour. I really like it with a belt. I will try it that way too. @laska, lovely baker boy hat. May consider one myself. No news on the Toast clothes front?

neveradullmoment99 · 23/09/2019 20:21

I had my hush leopard slinky skirt on today and quite a few people admiring it!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 23/09/2019 20:53

Sorry some of my post dissapeared.
I love the Toast dresses @NotAnActualSheep
I also love the burgundy dress @Huffthepuff

twosoups1972 · 23/09/2019 21:47

@Laska2Meryls love love love the hat, suits you so well.

@Huffthepuff have you decided on the dress yet? I might try it, still keen to jump on the Toast bandwagon Smile

Huffthepuff · 23/09/2019 21:58

No @twosoups1972 I haven't. I love the colour and the shape but the neckline is so Puritan and the loose waist needs a belt. My belt doesn't go that small (doesn't sit on my waist as I bought it to sit on my hips for jeans etc) but I have an 80s wide elastic belt that I'll try. It feels very much out of my comfort zone but also a beautiful piece of clothing that would really mix up my wardrobe if I was brave enough
So Soups tell us what is currently in your first Toast basket????

neveradullmoment99 · 23/09/2019 22:18

I think you should keep it. I love the collar on it. I wear it unbuttoned and a slip under it so a bit of black lace is jus showing. I haven't worn mine with a belt as I really love it the way it is but I will be sure to try it. You must be taller than me @Huff as it seems shorter on you or maybe its lifted by the belt?

NotAnActualSheep · 23/09/2019 22:35

Thanks for the toast love peeps!

I'm not holding out much hope for resisting the cardi - though there is a lovely navy merino cable one from celtic & co on the link ella sent, so I may see if i can transfer my affections before I next get paid ... I thought alpaca was itchy too, but the one I tried on in the shop wasn't at all.

soy - yes, I also have a thing for velvet and silk and embroidery and so on (my inner 1920s lady). But in autumn I go into a little knitwear hole and refuse to come out until I have All The Jumpers.

soups - i agree - keep the boots. Really nice shape. I used to have some taupe ones like that that were surprisingly useful. Though they had an annoying heel that I kept twisting my ankle on so i got rid last year, and now I'm regretting it slightly. (Not even a high or narrow heel, I just couldn't get the hang of it). They were very versatile, and the colour went with loads.

huff - wow - that dress looks brill on you! The colour is beautiful and love with the belt. (The ikat one can be worn without the belt though I think it's better with on me). I know what you mean about the puritan collar. I had one like that and it did get softer and more floppy with washing. lol @ the toast model! I'm not nearly suffering enough inner torment. And also, you could fit 2 toast models in me...

laska --yy, the hat is brill - really suits you! I got a 12 in the ikat and it's verging on too big everywhere, though I think that's the style and I like it wafty. Some of the reviews were saying that when they sized down it was a bit neat on the shoulders, though to me it feels like there's a fair amount of room. I do have a 10 in some toast dresses which are fine, but I prefer the sizing of the 12s generally. I used the "true size" thing on the website and it recommended me a 12, but I'm not convinced it didn't just take the size of other dresses I said i had! If it's norks, I think a 12 or at most 14 would be absolutely fine for you, or your waist and hips will be swamped. (I'm 30F, so about 37 inches around and there is lots of room in the 12).

never - yay, so glad you're getting use out of the leopard skirt already!

twosoups1972 · 23/09/2019 22:52

So @Huffthepuff berry shirt dress that you have, lightweight merino sweater in both colours and silk velvet sleeveless top in both colours 😮

Have thrown away packaging for boots, looks like I am keeping them 😂

justilou1 · 23/09/2019 23:06

Ikat dress is gorgeous, and baker boy hat is fab too. Am not using names now as dazed and confused. (Not a morning person and sipping first coffee after disjointed sleep. Managed to nod off after dh rudely woke me to play the “Have you seen my....?” game.)

neveradullmoment99 · 23/09/2019 23:43

New hush stuff on website. New Meryl@Laska2Meryls
Lots of really nice things!

Talisin · 24/09/2019 05:51

@Laska2Meryls Oh my goodness - that hat is fab on you. You are keeping it I hope?

@SoyYo Velvets, silks and leather (plus sequins) are my happy place too. I do love autumn/winter dressing.

Talisin · 24/09/2019 06:51

And on the subject of velvet, the new Hush jacket is beautiful, much nicer style than last year’s green one which always looked stiff and a bit boxy to me. Not sure about the skirt though, looks like it might be a bit too shiny, the cut looks slightly odd on the model and the colour’s too bright for me.

JMAngel1 · 24/09/2019 06:57

Never mind the clothes, Huff your bedroom is gorgeous! Goals for my loft conversion.

Sooverthemill · 24/09/2019 07:53

Love the hat, the boots, the velvet top, burgundy dress and ikat dress ( did I miss anything? ). All excellent

Sooverthemill · 24/09/2019 07:55

My hush shirt which was the wrong size is all sorted. Lovely customer services girl ( hush and boden could both teach others a huge lesson) has sent out a new one, right size which will arrive today and I need not rush to return wrong one. Phew

Binkybix · 24/09/2019 07:59

The new Hush velvet blazer is ♥️

Huffthepuff · 24/09/2019 08:00

Thanks@JMAngel1 !
Great news @Sooverthemill so pleased for you

Finally a Hush launch to get excited about!

@SoyYo there's a velvet blazer!!

Binkybix · 24/09/2019 08:00

And love the toast stuff. I have a stretchy belt that might need the burgundy dress to go with it.

Huffthepuff · 24/09/2019 08:14

Thanks @neveradullmoment99 and @NotAnActualSheep that's good to know that the burgundy dress might loosen up. I can get the colour to sit open at all currently. I'm 5.6 Never

Soups* your Toast shopping basket sounds excellent! Go for it!!

miffy2 · 24/09/2019 09:30

Had a quick look at the new hush drip. I really like the red and pink flower pleat skirt. Also drawn to the Brigitte jumper until I read care instructions. Do not wash and do not dry clean. Really?!?!?

Laska2Meryls · 24/09/2019 09:56

Dont forget code Sept19 !!
Ok so as you may have guessed ( and even though its a scandalous price compared to last years one ) I have ordered a Meryl !! (The blue one) .. I will be Laska3Meryls if its nice !! Ihave also ordered the blue supersoft wide top , which is a good price, I have worn the grey one from last AW loads..
Some nice stuff ( also love the pea coat)
But those two were the ' grab quick' things for me
.
