@Sooverthemill I also love Southwold. We had a short break in Suffolk when I was pregnant with dd2. Me, dh and toddler dd1 stayed in Lavenham which was lovely. Although it was December and we struggled to find things to do. I remember the lovely pier in Southwold and we took dd1 to the Ipswich Museum. I was very impressed with the size of the mammoth ('it's mammoth' said dh ); dd had more fun running up and down the ramp. Happy days!

Hmm. I have just noticed that BA have taken my ££ already on my CC,but they are not due to post out until Oct 9th -11th.. Anyone else?

This is annoying, over £150 on my card with nothing to show for it for a few weeks.. and I have a holiday before ill even get them.. I think I shall cancel my order and take pot luck.. I dont need jeans and trainers that much.. Also have just paid for the ruddy car to be fixed ! £778!!

I didnt buy anything from BA. For some reason, the postage bugs me and the long wait.

I did buy the Toast monkey shoes in burgundy. The solovair ones.

Yes it was a smashed bumper , so it all had to be replaced .. but sadly was done on a private building site , I could have claimed insurance but it would have been tricky as I had it on an unmade road etc, so I paid myself.. I am not taking car on any sites for work again. I have lost tyres before also .. ( cant claim through work either, I am not an 'essential car user' )

I have cancelled my BA order now, s*d them ... we are off to Portugal (Douro valley wine trip anda week in Oporto ) in a couple of weeks (DHs fab retirement present from his work) . I may find I can spend the £££ on something nice out there like a nice leather bag perhaps

But then there is also Portugal... when I have been previously I have really liked their footwear . Prudence who's she then? is telling me to keep the Clarks as they were only £47 with the 20% off I I do like them -and then also see what I can find in Oporto

Ooh Laska that sounds like a fabulous trip wine & shopping what more could anyone want😂 am feeling lots better I had dgd today & she came with some honey & insisted I made myself honey & hot water then made me lay on the sofa, put a blanket over me & by the way took my temperature every twenty seconds until she declared me all better & said we should go to the park!

Yes wine and shoes ( and Portuguese yummy food) .. Heaven! (well I hope so anyway).

We are really looking forward to it , esp as we didn't have to pay for it! (but no doubt we will be spending a few Euros or two whilst we are there)

Is anyone around to offer an opinion? ( or tell me to be sensible and return something!)

A parcel has just arrived! I ordered the Simone skirt in leopard print which is beautiful and despite not needing it I'm going to keep it, I also ordered the clara jumper in neon yellow for no other reason than Hush paired the two items together in a recent instagram post!

The jumper is really lovely but SO bright!!!!, it works really well with the yellow in the skirt but other than that I'm not sure what I would wear it with, it's quite expensive and I can't justify buying another jumper unless I know I am going to wear it, I have a cupboard full from last year.

I'm also not sure that at 49 that I have the confidence to wear it?

The skirt would work with a black jumper just as well but I really like the yellow, any ideas what else it would go with? Or has anyone seen a not quite so bright option a little cheaper elsewhere?

laska lucky girl going to Portugal soon! I’m well jealous and I reckon this is the longest period in decades I’ve been stuck in GB (last trip was work related to Prague end of June) I’m getting really itchy feet...Sorry to read about your enormous car repair bill and the BA lark. It is very cheeky I agree but I guess they’re just a front shop for retailers end lines and hold no stock themselves so that’s how they make their profit and cash flow...the trade off for the bargains.
I’m leaving my order in as I do need proper fitting skinnies and really really want those trainers (hope they fit 🤞)

@mumtoadancer I love both. They go well together, the jumper would also be great with a leather skirt if you have one? It would also work very well with a black maxi or midi skirt.

The skirt is great and like you say could be paired with a fine knit black jumper and boots in cooler weather.

mumtoadancer love the combo on the Instagram post! But I see your dilemma it’s a neon yellow I reckon would also go really well with grey trousers/skirts (aside the fab leopard skirt) and may even combine really well with a deep chocolate brown if you have any in your wardrobe?

Thanks @Ellapaella the jumper is really lovely, I'm just not sure I'm confident enough to wear it, I don't have a leather skirt but agree it would look I lovely with one.

@SoyYo thank you, I didn't think of grey but you are right it would work with grey, I have a couple of pairs of trousers in grey, might have to have a trying on session.

On a positive note I have had two refunds this morning for parcels that I returned on Friday so hopefully they are getting back to normal in the warehouse..

Yes agree grey would definitely work too. Nice to have a bit of colour in the winter - I say go for it.

@mumtoadancer - I LOVE the combo... I have been hiding behind dull clothes for too long. I would maybe consider swapping the neon to the skirt and putting the leopard on top if I was too nervous. (Also, I’m blonde and neon makes my face Wishy washy!)

Yes something bright and totally unexpected is so lovely in the dreary mid winter! Keep it if you love it mumtoadancer I think you’ll be able to combine with lots of neutrals (try camel too) and deep browns and even a very deep burgundy would look amazing with it 👌

Mum I bought the neon yellow slub T to wear with the navy Santana but tbh I only ever wear it with that.. I also have the dandelion raw edge linen top which I wear with the black white striped Marina skirt, but again nothing else.. I am not really sure why, suppose they just seem an outfit. I suppose what I am saying is if it is expensive ( my bright tops were not) then yes it would be a shame if ot only saw the light of day as one look ( but then if that look is 'you' then def keep! I am no help am I ?
