Has anyone tried the Hush cord boilersuit? It would be awesome if it was tailored round the waist but I think (if only the model would move her arm) it’s too gathery ...

I may still order the Dune ones, but when I took my boots back at lunchtime, I picked up these what do you think? Plainer (and quite light weight) but nice I thought..also with 20%off so a bargain .

Just had my hair colour done and I'm not happy. Despite going to this salon for years and having the same colour, it's come out really dark I phoned them and they said I could either have some hi-lights put in, or they would do it for free next time. But I've got to live with it till then. Is Head and Shoulders shampoo any good for lightening it?

Can anyone tell me what hush skirt sizes are like? I usually wear uk 8 or equivalent ( so 26 or 27in jeans). But today my Boden cord midi skirt came and it's not cord despite the description saying so ( but I ordered it on my phone which has tiny writing) and also the 8 is a little snug (and this summer I have bought 2 pairs of Boden trousers which I needed in a size 6 so I think their sizes are not not my tummy). So, I like this? But which size? I've not had a skirt from hush before

Nice skirt @soover I find Hush skirts come up quite big. Why don't you try both an 8 and a 6? I think they usually offer free returns.

two soups yes I might like the Dune more also, and think ill order those also, but as Clarks honoured the 20% off voucher I used for the boots if I bought inthe shop ,I thought id give them a try

I love the mustard colour of the M&S but prefer the Dune to the plainer Clarks version laska.

soover if the Hush skirt had elasticated waistband I’d say definetely size down to a 6, and reading the only review on it appears quite generous...but it has a fixed waistband so dunno 🤷‍♀️ try both to be on the safe side. It does look great online

How annoying about your hair soups! I’m thinking about dying it again after nearly 2 years dye free but I think I’ll go for a semi perm colour as I’d be sooo annoyed if I ended up too dark. It just doesn’t look good anymore (even though I am naturally dark brown with silver streaks now) it would be too harsh now. But you’re a good decade younger than me so ask DD’s for their opinion before deciding as it may be not be as bad as you think?

I would do @Soy but I am denial that I colour my hair. Think they all suspect but I still deny it

Its quite odd really that my hair has gone pink ,,! if people comment I always tell them that its my natural colour

I like the Dune shoes better than the clarks ones... but both are nice.

Just sounds like a good plan especially if having surgery hope it goes ok, Melbourne sounds as though it could be a nice escape from the weather you are having, albeit not a great reason you will be visiting if relative is giving cause for concern, but at least you will have some company & a catch up💐
Laska jacket is great & a good price, both shoes good but I think if the dune ones are comfy they look a bit more brogue like iykwim.
soover yy order both sizes, hush sizing is usually pretty bonkers like most places these days, tis lovely skirt.
Soupsthats soo annoying, maybe go back & see what they think would be best, hilights might lift it a bit which could help if it’s to dark blooming nuisance though.

Well I have tried the Clarks shoes on again at home ,and you know, they are really nice, slim fit and pretty cool looking IMO (the Clarks photo doesn't do them justice at all) .DH also really likes them (and he has a really good eye for style ) ..

The Dune ones will have to be really good (at nearly £40 more) to have me keep them .. The odd thing is I have realised that I have bought a size bigger than i would normally, a 6 instead of a 5 (I am sure my feet haven't got any bigger!)..I just tried them off the shelf and asked the guy for the other one,, thought they were a 5 ... I may go back and try the 5s on, but the shoes I have are a good fit.. .

Am now wondering whether to reorder the shiny Clarks orinoco spice boots in the 6 . they were fab, but just a bit narrow on me .

DH also likes the jacket, its a keeper and a fab price at £35.. I recommend you try it .. (its sort of an antique gold shade )

The jacket is a real bargain & a lovely colour, thinking it might go with your trusty Chester trainers & if the dune ones aren’t perfect then forty quid saved.

So I kept thinking about the skirt and bought it anyway. But I didn't get the 'hush friend' premium post option! I think they knew I tried to trick them. Oh well that will teach me to try to break them. I do wish they would offer more frequent promo codes.

Yes , maybe they are having another rejig of the friends thing, they did that previously ( about a year ago I think); and didnt put me back on until I complained!!

Icant imagine that they are going into sale again; some of the summer sale stuff is still up there..
I have sent back much more than I have kept the last couple of seasons ,and tbh not keen on this AW offering, so I would not be that surprised to lose my friends status!!
