De lurking to report Ellie Goulding gets married tomorrow at York Minster, wedding reception at Castle Howard, where I’ll be working... rumour has it Beatrice/Eugenie may attend. Fingers crossed for some royal frocks!

They are having a Vegan «feast» and glamming in the grounds of CastleHoward.
Will be nice to have some fashion after the desert which has been this summer!

@CassianAndor - my DD and I went at the weekend - and came home to look in despair at the clothes in the shops - all so shapeless and boring!

The groom's family are connected to Yorkshire. Hus grandfather is the Lord Lieutenant according to the Daily Mail.

It's s a distance from York I think- i visited a number of years ago.

I didn't realise Harry used to date Ellie. Apparently he RSVPed no (though I don't know how the Mirror know this) but the Cambridges and Yorks will attend. All will be revealed in a few hours!

Sure I gossip a little myself don’t I but the deep gossip is perhaps best for another thread so we don’t miss any dresses.

The thing about the ‘gossip’ on this thread is that it’s mainly just conversation and it lacks the vitriol that can be found on most of the other royal threads on MN.

Personally I like the mix. Particularly at times like this when there aren’t many frocks around.

I love how the Scandi royals are all bessie mates. It must be nice for the future monarchs to have a group of people in their lives going through the same thing.

I agree with AppleKatie in that I think we are very good at self-regulating the gossip on these threads.
