Styled by Susie - anyone done it?

Hi all, I've been following the tribe group on Facebook for a while but just wondering if anyone here has tried it. I can't seem to get to the bottom of what they advise, seasons etc. Is there something similar closer to London. And she keeps advising chunky trainers, is this a thing now?

@Styledbyserpents

There is no way on God's green that woman in shorts is an hourglass!!!

Yes, another classic example of a wrong 'analysis'.

@Sinkingswan

But unless you have been trained in colour analysis, how do you know its wrong? I would have no idea so I would trust the judgement of the professionals over someone's opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe that's just me though.

But which 'professionals' are we trusting...?

Just because someone charges for something, does that make them a professional? What is this diploma that they have all completed? All I could find is it costs £3,600. So the wealthy customers of Susie have been able to pay to become stylists. Nothing special about them tbh.

@Sinkingswan google celebrities and their seasons or go on Pinterest. Compare spring celebrities and winter celebrities and come back and tell us if you can pick out the main differences. There are a lot of subsets within different methods but for me there is a marked difference between those two seasons in particular.

Is someone going to make a thread 2? Maybe oopsadaisydoddle or ohmygiddiest?

On Trustpilot, the business can dispute the review and it’s potentially removed. I purchased an extractor fan online but after 2 months it hadn’t arrived and they kept blaming the manufacturer for failing to supply.mi contacted the manufacturer who said they had never received the order, and sold it to me direct. I ended up having to dispute the charge through PayPal to get a refund from the retailer. I left a negative review on TrustPilot, which the retailer disputed. I had to provide a copy of my order, then TrustPilot removed my review as having received my refund I wasn’t a customer Hmm

Anyway back to SBS!

@Oopsadaisydoddle

I can do that, although do I need to do anything in particular with it or give it a particular name?

And if we do another thread, will this one be around still? Just with it having a lot of balanced views on it, it's worth keeping.

Yep, this thread will be visible forever.

Because anyone can look at someone and see instantly that if a certain colour they are wearing suits them or isn’t doing anything for them. When women have been told that they are the wrong seasons, their photos are really jarring because the colours they are wearing don’t look right on them.

I also don’t like them saying which celebrities are certain seasons because that’s only helpful if the celebrity in question always wears the right colours for them - there’s no point in, for example, copying the colours that Jennifer Aniston always wears because you’ve been told that the same season as you if she doesn’t wear the colours that suit her best regularly. (With no offence meant to JA - I just plucked a celebrity out of the air as an example).

New thread is deleted. Apparently, there were some 'odd' referrals to the Facebook group admins??? I missed the last few posts on that thread...

FlasknTea · 13/08/2020 16:38

Me neither, didn’t see referrals to admin? How weird. What was said?

Maybe Susie has been in touch and complained!

Possible. I did wonder.
She might even have a case for defamation or rather “libel”. It was said here that she isn’t qualified and she actually has a stylist diploma so legally she can shut that down. Personally if I was her and read some of the comments, I would have contacted a lawyer, as she can argue it’s impacting her business during a precarious time.

Judging by how defensive she's been over the critisicims re after sales service, I'm surprised it took her this long to threaten with a lawsuit (if that IS the reason for the thread deletion).

No way would she have a case for defamation or libel - that's ridiculous!

Susie and her 'stylists' are not properly qualified to perform those services and it was blatantly obvious by the amount of analyses they were getting wrong. I am so glad people have spoken up on this thread and that it has prevented more people from getting ripped off.

Thanks to everyone who has been truly kind and given honest feedback. What we have witnessed here is true empowerment! Long live kindness!
