Autumn wardrobes.... what are we thinking of?

I look forward to September and the change in weather move to autumny clothes.... I don't know why but I really, really fancy some super leather cowboy boots... plus pinafore dresses :)

It was the Windsor and Eliza, really nice.

Still looking for a big warm scarf/wrap.

I’ve been considering getting a belt bag to wear with my midi dresses. I always wear a belt (I’m an hourglass) & the belt bags seem so... practical. Just ordered this one from Warehouse. Think it’ll be fab when taking DC to play group. Not sure how it’ll work under my coat though 🤔

That’s really nice happttobemrsg and I’m not usually a fan, get you on the coat thing though, coat open but a big scarf for warmth?

I've been lurking. Had to share my new coat which I love. Daring colour I know but it feels special. Makes a change from my usual grey and navy!

I'm thinking I want a great huge scarf. I might splurge on an acne studio one...if I ever decide on the most suitable colour!!!!!!

The new Boden catalogue came through the door and I have to say some of the stuff looked lovely. Shame I can’t afford any of it 🤣

I live in denim mini skirts, jumpers, tights & ugg boots topped off with a big scarf. That being said this is casual weekend attire, my work wardrobe is skinny jeans, warm boots & warm coat.

Nice imclaustrophobicdarren very nice, must admit I bought a very large scarf from primark for £6, but I’d love a big cashmere one or at least very soft wool, I really feel the cold these days.

I think I’m going to need a couple of thermal camisoles as the. Old is getting to me already but all the ones I’ve had so far seem to kind of ride up.

I had the best primark scarf last year with huge tassels!!! I lost in after wearing it out and getting drunk! Then I think they'd sold out :(

I spent all Sunday afternoon putting away my summer clothes and getting out autumn n winter wardrobe
I’ve not lost any more weight sadly so one or two things I’d bought hoping to slim into are no good yet - but most things ok
I need a cream or light beige jumper and some grey work trousers but that’s about it
I’ve recently bought a navy massimo dutti long line cardigan which I’m going to wear as a sweater dress from tkmaxx for £20, plus a navy shorter cardigan same, a grey stripy cardigan and a multicoloured jumper - spent less than £100 total

Jacelancs I recently did the same plus mended a few things (sewed loose buttons, , polished boots) I need two more jumpers, you did well at TK Maxx.

I want a grey jumper and another in maroon/berry

My & Other Stories order arrived today, I love it! Both jumpers are definite keepers as are the earrings

I wore my leopard print &OS jumper today! It’s so comfy.

I fell off this thread when I was doing #secondhandseptember - which I failed miserably on day 20 when I bought the Oliver Bonas dress ellapaella linked above. I have bought the following things:

Black DM church boots (via Depop at half price, only worn once by the seller!)
Grey merino crew-neck jumper from M&S
Olive green peg-leg cords from Topshop
Black Levi’s 501 jeans
Some Snag tights
Stripy knee-high socks for wearing under cropped trousers from Lucy and Yak

Currently waiting on a cardigan from the H&M/Pringle collaboration.

I brought down all my knitwear last week from vacuum packed bags, and am really pleased to rediscover old friends.

I was really tempted by The Zara Dress in the new colourways, but now the weather is colder I realise I won’t wear dresses in that sort of fabric again until summer, so I am glad I resisted. (Plus the seam went under the arm on my white one, and the seam allowance is so tight I couldn’t sew it and had to put it in the rag bank.)

I’m looking forward to wearing my new jumpers! I need to look for some everyday flat boots and maybe a new coat too

I have another pair very similar, though not as high waisted, that I wear either with an oversized jumper (French tucked) and trainers, or a fine knit (fully tucked) with pointy flats. Have also worn with a cord shirt. I have some slouchy taupe boots I’d like to try tucking them into too! They’re really versatile.
