Autumn wardrobes.... what are we thinking of?

I look forward to September and the change in weather move to autumny clothes.... I don't know why but I really, really fancy some super leather cowboy boots... plus pinafore dresses :)

The hunt for boots continues...

What sort of boots would you wear with this kind of outfit? Not ground breaking but the sort of thing I wear most days.
I don't feel either boots are quite right. I can't feel the love for dainty ankle boots like these with skirts, in a 16/18 so am a bit chunky for that look.

What am I missing? 🤔 High tops or DMs with the jeans maybe, but what with the skirt?

This has dropped off my “I’m on” feed so I thought I’d revive the thread. Thanks to my still uncomfortable cs scar, the only jeans I find semi comfortable are high waisted ones (but as an hourglass I’m supposed to be sticking to those anyway). So I’ve bought some black ‘lift & shape’ jeans from NL (also grabbed a blue pair in the sale for only £10!).

@Ellapaella I finally succumbed & bought THAT New Look dress as it was in the sale - just £15 it would be rude not to

I also had a moment of madness & bought a black leather Gucci belt to wear with my midi dresses & when I’m tucking tops into my jeans. I love mixing designer accessories with high street clothes ❤️

I wore my camel poncho today & felt really good in it. I think it’ll become an Autumn staple

Ah the dress will look lovely on you happy - that's quite a bargain as well, it would be rude not to!
I've not bought anything this month but have been lusting after ThisOliverBonasdress for weeks and my lovely DH bought it for me this weekend. I'm determined to break my jeans habit and wear more dresses this autumn and this one is lovely.

The way the weather has turned I’m getting great use from my Baukjen trench so it was a great buy.

I’m trying not to spend but still want a loose, cowl neck sweater probably in grey, plus boots but I can wait for sales for those. Everything I’ve tries is to wide on the calves so far.

I loved this thread so I’m glad to see it again, I got some wrist warmers from Turtle Dove which are gorgeous, and a couple of bags from My Exquisite recommendation here. Looking for warm jeggings and boots now

twosoups I haven’t seen many nice jumpers anywhere tbh, I’m looking for both light and dark grey. I think on the ‘what are you wearing today’ thread there was a cream jumper, I forget where it was from.

Are any of you looking at hair and makeup for Autumn/winter? My hair goes very light in the sun but I also tan easily. I’m wondering whether to warm my hair up now and go a bit caramel. Also wondered if Deichmans are any good for boots.

I think they were actually some of the jumpers you had mentioned (I am also enjoying the what I’m wearing today thread, your outfits are lovely!). I ordered a leopard print one and a cream one, looking forward to them arriving! And some hoop earrings

What's the Other Stories sizing like please? I need probably two more jumpers for winter

I ordered a small and wear a size 10 usually, hopefully they will fit as I’ve not ordered from them before (the jumpers looked quite slouchy and oversized)

Slouchy is what I want, I'm especially looking for a very soft grey cowl or loose roll neck

I love this thread too and now it's colder I realise I need a few thIngs. There's a lot of parties coming up for various 40th birthdays so I'd like a couple of going out tops. What bag did you get Stevie ? They have a load of new things in and there's a lovely looking bag called Roxy I'm tempted by.
