Autumn wardrobes.... what are we thinking of?

I look forward to September and the change in weather move to autumny clothes.... I don't know why but I really, really fancy some super leather cowboy boots... plus pinafore dresses :)

What are the all saints ones?
I'd like some hiking boots but not sure if they go with the looser trouser silhouettes. They will look nice with tights & shirts but i'm much more of a trouser person.

Nice, they are quite a classic shape but £££. I don't mind spending £200 but if I do then I can only get 1 pair.

I need knee boots too, I can’t justify the cost of these but want something similar. I need knee boots in very plain leather, nice and snug on the calf.

These are the boots I wear most in autumn/winter - I saw them in the window of the Ecco shop after some disastrous DM Flora boots that cut my feet to ribbons, and they are very similar but super-soft. I bought a second pair because they are so comfy! I have small, wide feet which are difficult to clad.

I also have DM Cynthia boots, and Ugg leather biker boots, but tend to wear leather trainers a lot with opaque tights, or wide cropped trousers. (I know Mumsnet hates tights and trainers!) I have a 30 minute walk each way to work, then am on my feet most of the day (lecturer) so need comfy feet.

Atalune I darent even look at them in patent croc! Very good point about sales, I’ll hold on for a bargain hopefully

My lovely husband bought me a Allsaints leather jacket and clarks brogues for my birthday last week, so my wardrobe will be based around those.
I bought some cotton blend tops from M&S last week in their sale which should work for autumn.

I've bought two pairs of Brora wide leg cords. I don't usually wear anything wide leg but these are lovely. No idea what shoes to wear them with.

In other news, am keeping the Hobbs Esme jacket but returning the Other Stories dress (too big but also the material felt very thin and cheap: and normally I am not averse to viscose!).

The jacket really is a beautiful material and cut. I wear a lot of brown, plus black and brown/tan/tortoiseshell, plus navy/tan/tortoiseshell so this will go with a lot of my wardrobe.

It's a great colour sigh cold here today, I'm going through my accessories now, seem to have a lot of single gloves. I'm going to freshen up my scarves and try to get organised

I bought a 2 set of hoop tortoise shell earrings from ASOS which I am wearing loads. Love that trend.

@Miseryisabutterfly I have that exact jumper in my basket! What is the fit like?? I’m a size 10. I’m considering it in black, beige & pistachio (gutted the rust is out of stock). Do you think they would look good with skinnies? Sorry for all the Q’s!! I love that red Zara dress too trying to resist looking it up online I wear the blue one with a black belt which gave me a great shape - do you normally wear the dresses loose?

They are so similar Sigh! I started a thread about the bag because I wasn’t sure whether to keep it or not & the responses were so mixed. I’m sure if I had said it was from Hobbs rather than £25 from ASOS it would have been received better 😂

I bought a lovely black roll neck poncho in the sales, can't wait to wear it with jeans and my burgundy boots. Haven't had a poncho before.

I've got loads of tortoiseshell jewellery at the moment. Though one pair are a pair of giant star hoop style earrings I've not had the guts to wear yet.

I just bought something a little crazy & massively out of my comfort zone. I have lots of maxi flowy dresses (just like the one Misery just posted which I may or may not have just bought) which I wear with belts - black, tan & leopard print. Saw this gold belt from Zara & thought it might look cool with my dresses.... or have I totally lost it?! What do you guys think?! It’ll be my final purchase unless I cave & buy the &OS jumper Misery also posted
