Autumn wardrobes.... what are we thinking of?

I look forward to September and the change in weather move to autumny clothes.... I don't know why but I really, really fancy some super leather cowboy boots... plus pinafore dresses :)

I’m really liking tortoiseshell at the moment, I’d like a large cuff. I’m glad you’re pleased with most of your stuff, if you do want leather crossbody bags the ones linked earlier are really nice (I have quite a collection now)

Still hot, still not worn my trench yet. Still pondering boots.

I got some tortoiseshell earrings and bracelets earlier in the year, and have worn them a lot. Eaarings

I was looking at this dress briefly today. Couldn't decide if it was great or utterly bonkers. It reminded me a lot of a party dress I had as a kid in the 70s, when we all wore long dresses to birthday parties!

Found the perfect cuff, it's £95 from Aspinall though, I need a version of £20 or less.

@luxurywoman2018 I also have a tortoiseshell jewellery thing going on - have been so happy that it is "in" this/last season. Have you checked out Hobbs? Each season they do something beautiful in tortoiseshell.

I love tortoiseshell too. I wear it with everything & weirdly I love it with black. Got a few pairs of tortoiseshell earrings & wear them a lot. Think I’ll wear my &OS ones tomorrow.

Remus There's a lot of things around with a 70's vibe atm. I don't know if it's because of midi dresses being popular or all the browns but definitely 70's. I quite like that dress but think it's one you have to try on before you know.

Sezane have a few things in their preview look books that I really like. Don't like their prices but might order a couple of things to try when it's all out.

Enid - I agree! I'm pretty sure it would be appalling on me, but I remain weirdly drawn to it. And it's cotton, which adds substantially to its appeal. Will try it on and report back.

Ordered the black poncho. I’ve got loads of outfits on my Stylebook app & it’s got quite disorganised. I’ve created new categories for “Autumn- cold/wet” & “Autumn- dresses” to see whether I really do have enough clothes for my Autumn capsule wardrobe. Assuming I can get into my pre-pregnancy jeans So far it looks like I’m missing some medium blue jeans & a replacement black leather camera bag. Jewellery-wise I’d really like some statement gold earrings. I’m glad I’ve done it - hopefully it’ll stop me from buying anything else

I’m going to give my stylebook a go I think. I wanted to wear my trench today as light rain is forecast but the temperature might be a bit high.

My Uniqlo jacket arrived yesterday - it could probably do with being a tiny bit smaller but at least I'll be able to get a jumper under it. It's very lightweight but warm too.

My main concession to autumn is wearing plimsoll type shoes / trainers instead of sandals. The other stuff I wear is so basic it works all year round in varying thicknesses!

Just bought this kimono jacket today from M&S. Will go with so much! May wear it tonight with black t shirt and the skirt I accidentally bought too. I'll wear trainers or brogues but can see this with a thin knit black cashmere jumper and boots if it gets chillier
