I haven’t posted here yet, but just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying this thread. Loving seeing all the outfits.

IhaveALooBrush · 05/09/2019 08:20

I've got a beautiful 1930s style dress on from topshop. It sits between calf and ankle. I have a massive droopy black knitted cardigan to go over it and my big black nerd glasses. I cant be arsed with contacts today, DH snored all night and kept stealing the duvet.
When I leave the house I shall wear DMs and a fluffy coatigan thing.
It's cold here.

cheesenpickles · 05/09/2019 09:03

Have a meeting with my daughter's reception teacher before she starts school in a couple of weeks staggered starts) so going for easy breezy casual. Then she's off to grandads and I'm working at home for the rest of the day. Tomorrow's garb will be a lot smarter as I've got a meeting. Got this Topshop jumper second hand in an eBay bundle and while it's not a colour I'd usually got for I absolutely love it. Not bad for about ...50p?

Really need to get rid of these trainers though. Blush

@cheesenpickles great bargain for 50p!
I'm wearing my black soft denim dungarees and a jumper from Hush in the sale last winter. Haven't decided on shoes yet as it's cold - either trainers or DM's.

ellapella are your dungarees from hush? I keep looking at them but as I last wore dungarees 30 years ago I'm not sure I can carry them off!

Ellapaella · 05/09/2019 10:00

@Sooverthemill no they are by a label called Run and Fly. I got them from a local boutique but I think they sell on amazon.

MightyMunki · 05/09/2019 10:20

Love that H&M t shirt @Ellapaella.
I saw it in store but couldn’t figure out how I’d wash it without ruining it Blush

Ellapaella · 05/09/2019 11:20

@MightyMunki I haven't worked that out yet either! I'll let you know as it's going on the wash today Smile

Talisin · 05/09/2019 14:51

Wearing the oldest item in my wardrobe today - a sleeveless black sheath dress that’s at least 25 years old & came from some shop in Brixton that sold old high street stock (think everything5pounds in physical form).

Sheath dress (?)
Net polka dot shirt (F&)
Over the knee boots (Next)
Watch (Skagen)
Bracelet ((Swarovski)
Rings (Silver by Mail)
Claddagh ring (Blacoe Jewellers)

Not pictured are a gorgeously dark, dark green pleather jacket from Tu, oversize sunnies from Accessorize & a sparkly lanyard because I can’t wear a lanyard & long pendant together so this was my solution.

Seasalt have similar dungers sooverthemill

Sooverthemill · 05/09/2019 18:48

barren thanks for that. I live in a seaside town that has a sea salt, a white stuff and a fat face and a hideously expensive boutique. Nothing else! But I could probably try a pair on when I next manage to get a sitter!

neveradullmoment99 · 05/09/2019 23:05

I have the black seasalt dungarees and they are totally gorgeous! Really recommend them!

YesQueen · 06/09/2019 07:11

Love that blazer, cheesenpickles!

LeonoraFlorence · 06/09/2019 08:53

@happytobemrsg
Our styles are scarily similar! What have you got ordered for your capsule Autumn wardrobe, if you don’t mind me asking?

cheesenpickles · 06/09/2019 09:13

Its fab isn't it @Talisin? I always feel awfully uncomfortable in black and grey ones, but this one totally formals up and can be dressed down too.

Black karrimor zipoff walking trousers, karrimor boots, teal long sleeve top and red seasalt coat. I'm in the Outer Hebrides and about to go on a 3 mile beach hike. It is absolutely boiling here.
