I’m another one who can’t master the half tuck, just looks messy on me.

Feel weirdly underdressed today as I was running so late I forgot my rings.

Nancy you look great, I love Gap girlfriend jeans - they are perfect for wearing with boots.
Tailsin I love the velvet skirt, your outfits always look amazing.
I'm going for a full tuck on my jumper today with Mom jeans. I can't wear high waisted jeans without either a cropped jumper or fully tucked in or it just looks a bit odd on me.
Jumper is from Hush, Mom jeans are Bershka and trainers as before.

When I say odd it's because I have quite a long torso so I need something to break up the silhouette when I wear high waisted jeans. I haven't really mastered the half tuck yet either.

I tried a tuck but it made my hips look huge!

Today was a big day for me. I had a meeting with an old contact to discuss my potential new business (he thinks it’s a good idea - yay!) & I took both DC to my old work. At 9 weeks post partum I was desperate to not look too “mummy” 😂

Re the half tuck. I’m sure it emphasises my hips & probably looks all kind of “accidentally tucked my top into my pants” but it does seem to make my waist look a bit more shapely.

@happytobemrsg where are your boots from? I've been looking for a nice pair of black flats, but everything i've found is too manly, too plastic looking or too wide for me.

Another work day today for me, thinking of going on a bit of an accessories spree and treating myself to some new scarves and bits of jewellery over the weekend....

@champagneplanet they are from M&S & were £60 I think. I have them in black & tan. They seem to go with everything.

Been for a run and then walked the dog for an hour so feeling very virtuous. Off to meet some friends for lunch so I'm wearing the Oliver Bonas dress, a cashmere sweater from Woolovers and denim jacket.

Lovely outfits^^. OP, that dress is lovely. I keep peeking at Oliver Bonas as a new one has just opened near me, but I have vowed off NEW, new clothes till my Styled by Susie personal shop! Some lovely bits in there though.

I'm in a possibly unorthodox combo today, due to washing all my favourite clothes ready for (UK based, no sun), holiday at the weekend! Not my finest hour and had no time for a pic this morning, but I felt strangely compelled to update you all anyway! at self.

Anywho, I am in a brown cord, new look pinafore, over a pale pink, highish crew neck, M&S slogan t-shirt, leggings with rainbows embroidered on the knee from Next children's range, (age 16 is equivalent of a size 12), DM boots and a long line navy cardi over the top. Usual necklace, pearl earrings and gold rimmed glasses.

Today black Nike leggings with a big tick near the ankle. A baggy plain white tshirt. A grey fur hooded bows boutique coat and white 270s and my trademark nike lanyard with key my baby likes playing with.

Ditched my hoops and wore small crystal drop earrings because my sister said they look "intimidating" 🤣🤣🤣

Talisin might have one? She has gorgeous midi skirts. Which ones did you buy @Softpebbles & what do you plan to wear with them? I bought 2 sequin midi skirts (Next) & I've bought some lovely jumpers to go with them from New Look
