This skirt. Was thinking black ankle boots, black polo neck or jumper.

My issue is I’m often cold so would need to wear tight.

Lovely skirt pebbles. I think a nice soft oversized black jumper would look great with that skirt for casual wear with biker boots (or similar). A silky black cami with black biker jacket for evening wear with heels.

Lace up boots that look similar to DMs but have a lovely sheepskin lining. Brand is RJs fuzzies (from TK Maxx)

I'm trying to work out how dropped wide leg jeans might fit into winter so trying this today. Not sure at all but at least I'm not leaving the house!

Here I am in my Duns of Sweden dress and Snag tights. I don't think the dress is very flattering on me tbh, but I LOVE the print and it was an eBay bargain. I'm trying to decide what cardi / jumper and shoes...

I think it is actually a children's wear brand, but they also do adult sizes! Hence the slightly childish print .

I like the casual looks today. I am officially on holiday...except that I'm a sahm, which means I'm always on holiday, or never on holiday, depending on your perspective . Whatever, we are off on holiday tomorrow morning and DH is off work today.

I've really enjoyed packing for this holiday. I'm sure this thread and the plus size one are helping me navigate my wardrobe a bit better.

mrsg, that Peppa house is amazing. I daren't show a picture of that to my dcs, or they'll definitely be wanting one!

pebbles Agree with Ella on the oversize black jumper. Slogan knitware also works surprisingly well. If you want to tuck in then I’d recommend a wearing a slip otherwise you tend to get lumps. Footware-wise, with mine I either wear long boots - so no leg on view at all - or ankle boots with thin black tights. I would also happily wear skin colour tights (but wouldn’t generally admit to it on MN as they’re loathed around these parts).

Question: pleather leggings/coated jeans. Anyone got a pair from mint velvet? I randomly saw [[https://www.mintvelvet.co.uk/product/Black-Faux-Leather-Leggings/23410 this pair]] on Instagram and I kind of li,e them. I have no coated jeans or leather trousers. Too many close shaves in the 80s!

@sooverthemill I really like those Mint Velvet trousers. They look really versatile and easier to wear / style than the high shine, patent looking ones.

@NancyEspana the dog is old (11 tomorrow) and he is probably simply showing signs of old age. Possibly kidney issues ( ever tried collecting a urine sample from a dog? Not recommended) and gastro issues too. So he's getting lots of TLC and a special diet for a few weeks to see if he improves. He spends a lot of time in the younger dogs crate hiding away or else with his head in my lap staring at me!

Bought some new leggings from Tesco. Wow what a revelation, shapers type, thick, warm, don't sag at the knees or arse and do hold my wobbly bits in. All for about £15. I'll be going back and getting more I think. I've paid way more than that for leggings that are a lot worse quality.

So I'm wearing those and a big baggy jumper! Slob day for me

Slob day for me too, England rugby sweatshirt from New Zealand (get in with a fab win) and a pair of loose cotton baggy trousers from India and a pair of Birkenstock slippers TKmaxx and thick socks from Japan, but at least I am colour co-ordinated in red white and blue!

Have to say I prefer the photos of actual people rather than just photos of clothes- different people carry things so differently.
Need to get brave and post of photo myself, but I never wear anything interesting .....
