Should I cut my hair?

Wondering if I should get my hair cut. What does everyone think?

Photo is a bit crap - sorry - but very recent. Hair is nipple length and straight, the individual hairs are relatively fine but there are quite a lot of them.

First thing I thought when I saw your picture is Dawn ward. First thing I think every time I see Dawn ward is she would look a million times better with her hair cut off. On the last season of real housewives of Cheshire she had it in a long Bob for a while and did in fact look a million times better.

I've just Googled Dawn Ward and she's about a zillion times prettier than me.

I'll see if I can find another photo of my hair (in most photos it is covered up by another person or behind my shoulders or it's just a selfie !)

My answer to this question is always yes. So long as you have a good hairdresser

OMG - don't compare yourself to Dawn Ward!! She is not a look you'd aspire to.

Most people can get away with shorter - you just need a good hairdresser.

I think you'd look great like this. A bit longer would work too.

Yes - a just below the chin length would suit your face shape imho.

Also - it will grow back

I did a far more radical cut and tbh it wasn't for me - but what I did find when growing it out was a much more flattering length between before and after, which I'd never discovered if I hadn't made the big change in the first place.

Definitely prettier and much younger than wardy haha! What about taking a look at Cameron Diaz? She has had some lovely shorter dos over the years. Ferne cotton too.

Rarfy If I had a Euro for every time I'd been compared to Cameron Diaz, I would be able to afford her hairdresser...

Ferne has a rounder face than me, I think, and a smaller nose. And is younger.

Also, I'm not a gorgeous celebrity.

If I Google lob, all sorts of hair comes up from sort of jaw / just below jaw length to almost as long as my hair now but obviously styled professionally with sort of typical Pinterest beachy waves (Caroline Flack style).

It's just a long Bob. A Bob is usually jaw line. So longer than that. But a definite 'end' to the shape. So if it is dried straight it has a sharp blunt end.

Don't get a crop, you'll hate it after having long hair and your hair is so healthy it'd be a shame.

By nipple length do you been bra strap length (across back). It's just nips can be various heights depending on the person Think we need to see the ends included in a pic. Is it healthy and thick all the way to the ends?

Mine's long and I'm thinking of going shorter to mid length/armpit. Pinterest has loads of ideas.

I would Google blond lobs - more modern than long hair I think - some random internet grabs attached with similar face shapes to yours.

I wish I could get compared to Cameron Diaz. Those pics last posted are gorgeous and would suit you, just beware they are quite heavily styled. You will save lots of time it being shorter but will need a bit of time to spend on it if that is the day to day look you are after. Tbf either of those styles probably look lovely straight too it's just hard to tell from the photos.

EnidButton Thanks. The photo in the blue dress basically shows the ends of the hair, that's where it ends. With my head up my hair hangs just above my bra strap down the back (just tested...in the middle of a café ).

Those photos are not too different to my current hair in length, and if I styled my hair it could look like that.

The problem is I don't style my hair at all! Just air dry it - I am absolute butterfingers with anything like hair and make-up so I just go natural.

I was convinced and have Googled about 100 photos of lobs since Tuesday! Then this morning I came to work and a colleague has just done the same to her hair...and it doesn't look that great. Just meh. And she is younger than me.

So I'm all at sea again.
