Should I cut my hair?

Wondering if I should get my hair cut. What does everyone think?

Photo is a bit crap - sorry - but very recent. Hair is nipple length and straight, the individual hairs are relatively fine but there are quite a lot of them.

Thanks OhTheShoes. Certainly, you are much more fashionable than I. (I am almost 40 and baffled by almost everything).

My own stylist has kindly said he will fit me in on Tuesday, let's see what he can do.

Good luck whilst I think your long hair looks beautiful, it doesn't mean you should stick to it. You will suit other styles and sometimes it's so freeing to try something new!

I’d be fuming if a hairdresser refused to cut my hair!

I am rarely fuming unless it's something like refugees being left to drown in the Med. Certainly not about my hair.

I guess as a professional there are things that we don't want to, or have to, do.

Nah, the refugees don’t really bother me too much tbh.

I'd be livid if a hairdresser refused to cut my hair, it's your hair ffs! Your hair, your choice how you wear it. It doesn't matter if you wanted a buzz cut, you're paying them to do a job regardless if they prefer your before hair, obviously if you haven't got the right hair etc for a certain cut but not because of their opinion on the style. Amateurs imo.
