I love this dress, think she looks good! Am I the only one?

There is a rule about jeans at Wimbledon. Maybe no one told her. Personally I’d have thought it’s too hot to wear jeans at the moment.

HarryDaylight · 16/07/2019 08:51

The black dress did not fit her chest, ribcage and shoulders, and must have been uncomfortable to wear.

Her stylist really needs to employ a skilled tailor.

“There is a rule about jeans at Wimbledon. ”

No there isn’t. There are rules about the royal box but not in the member’s enclosure.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 16/07/2019 09:09

Ok, I stand corrected.

Morgan12 · 16/07/2019 09:13

Actually she looks gorgeous in those pictures posted. I think she has a sort of masculine face though.

And agree her style was miles better pre royal but she will find her way.

I think Kate is better looking.

BertrandRussell · 16/07/2019 09:25

I think DofC does evening clothes better but DofC does day and casual better. Really didn’t like the Lion King dress- and it looked horribly uncomfortable.

GooodMythicalMorning · 16/07/2019 09:37

She's beautiful.

Nikhedonia · 16/07/2019 09:38

@BertrandRussell which way round? DoS is better at day or evening wear?

BertrandRussell · 16/07/2019 09:40

Sorry- DofS is better at daytime.

BertrandRussell · 16/07/2019 09:42

Still interested to hear more about this-“I do wish that she'd realise she has taken on a role that comes with certain obligations whether she likes them or not” it’s something I hear quite a lot but never see justified

Downunderduchess · 16/07/2019 09:51

I love her fashion choices, very modern & so stylish. She gets it right always and seems to stay true to her own look, for both casual & more formal occasions.

TheCraicDealer · 16/07/2019 09:53

I suppose coming from California she's used to warmer temperatures anyway, so she would have been perfectly comfortable in jeans.

Dressing PP is hard but with all that money and, presumably, a stylist or personal shopper you'd think you could pick out a few things with a bit of stretch as insurance options. Even pre-pregnancy she wasn't great with fit and some of the maternity alterations were a bit crap. I would also like to see her wear more British designers and High Street brands.

I don't think DOC cares as much about clothes but she dresses better for her shape (although being tall and slim obviously helps). Probably because she cares less she leaves the majority of decisions up to professionals, so she ultimately gets a more polished, albeit occasionally bland, look. But for all my comments above, it's nice to see someone with their own style and personality who uses their clothing to show that off. I just hope Meghan gets a good lady tailor in soon!

anon812 · 16/07/2019 10:40

She looks good for 2 months PP but she is absolutely nothing on Kate, who in my opinion is the most beautiful woman on the planet

anon812 · 16/07/2019 10:41

I do think her dress looked a bit uncomfortable tbh. What she wore to Wimbledon the skirt with shirt looked more comfortable

Nikhedonia · 16/07/2019 10:53

She has an incredible figure, I just don't think she's being guided properly on what to wear now that suits her whilst trying to comply with the expected 'Royal image'.

She always seems a bit uncomfortable, (no judgement there, I would be exactly the same!) I really feel for her, the press are portraying a terrible image of her.

SamanthaBrique · 16/07/2019 11:02

Hope Kate's locked the doors...

NoTheresa · 16/07/2019 11:27

Kate is lovely but hardly “ the most beautiful woman in the planet”🤣
Meghan’s dress is too tight and “nylony” in appearance. Not sure about the Croydon facelift hair style either.

Nikhedonia · 16/07/2019 11:56

Her hair looks beautiful down and in messy ponytails and buns, but agree that this is a bit too tightly pulled back. She's got lovely soft features, but the hairstyle is a bit harsh.

BertrandRussell · 16/07/2019 12:07

Has anyone come back to explain what obligations she hasn’t met yet?

BusterGonad · 16/07/2019 12:30

She looked stunning here. I really envied how gorgeous she looked in this photo.
She looks great with the slight extra baby weight too, yes the dress was a bit tight on top but I still think she looked great.

Haha she should seriously lock the doors 😂😂😂 totally obsessed!! Everything she wears she looks amazing in. She is literally #goals.

Yep agree that MM looked great in that second dress she wore on her wedding day. It was a lot nicer than the main dress I thought, which didn't fit as well but I guess was appropriate for a royal bride to wear (not too tight/sexy/revealing)

Nikhedonia · 16/07/2019 12:39

@BusterGonad She looked stunning there.

BusterGonad · 16/07/2019 12:40

I also really liked the (cocktail?) ring she wore that belonged to Diana. It really suited the whole look, then her and Harry whizzed off in the sports car. It was such a stylish moment!

Nikhedonia · 16/07/2019 13:02

Yes, I thought the whole look was really good.

When she dresses for her shape and seems comfortable, she oozes style and sophistication.

anon812 · 16/07/2019 13:34

Yeah that ring set off the whole outfit. She looked classic yet modern. I wonder what stone it was, looked too light to be an emerald.
