Yes, on TV. They were shown regularly between games, Kate smiling and attempting conversation, Will very serious and not even turning or seeming to reply. Not a good impression. She spoke instead to the person on the other side.

I don’t really see a huge issue with Meghan’s dress last night, it could have done with being one size bigger but I read the comments before scrolling back to the pictures and was expecting some kind of monstrosity that was ripping at the seams, and it really wasn’t. She looked perfectly lovely.

Kate’s Wimbledon dress is actually much nicer than I first thought it was.

Gosh that gold post-maternity Jenny Packham dress of Kate’s is gorgeous and was the sort of thing I had in mind for my wedding this December. Somehow I’ve ended up with a more obviously ‘bridal’ dress but I’m kind of regretting that now.

That video is just black with sounds for me Curly. I believe you though, very controlled. Yes there were smiling pics but I'd say when it suits him, to fit said image, or else he was having a bad day yesterday but they were shown so often and each time he looked sulky.

I'm wearing a maxi dress today @GotToGoMyOwnWay!! I think CPV tends to choose ones with excess ruffles though.

I think Kate has just so mastered the art of looking smiley at all times, for hours on end, that William looks a bit resting bitch face next to her. I don't think he's sulking!

Not turning to her or responding when she spoke seemed pretty bad to me. He's very lucky to have her!

I often read the positive comments about Pippa and it's like the 'Emperor's New Clothes' - I must see something very different to everyone else as most of her dresses do nothing for me.

🙋🏼‍♀️me three... I think she wears terrible, fussy clothes. The kind of thing that always needs one detail removed - ruffle, loud pattern, frilly sleeve, fussy collar. (With the exception of her wedding dress, which was amazing)

Great pic of the Midddletons, @Curly. I finally see a Kate-Carole likeness in that shot, in the way Carole is looking at James' girlfriend. Never have been able to find much resemblance before.

FINALLY, I caught up!

I thought Meghan looked great yesterday. I don't see all the complaints about sizing etc. What she DID look like however is a woman who is short waisted at the best of times and has had a baby so is even less shapely in the waist area than usual. But she looked good.

Having said that, I do agree that she should be embracing different, softer fabrics. More silk and viscose and the like that drape nicely. I also wonder if with her new larger bust she needs to swap to v-necks for a while. Perhaps a beautiful silk wrap dress or similar?

I liked her shirt at wimbledon, but again, with the skirt combination it made her look shapeless. Not overweight, just like she has very little waist. Which is not odd but can be deceptive.

As for Beyonce - she can wear whatever the hell she likes. And I thought she looked great. No, it's not an outfit any other woman would wear for any occasion, but this is Beyonce, at a film premier for pity's sake. It would be weird if she didn't wear something completely OTT.

Also, I seem to recall Beyonce and Harry know each other - didn't they do some awareness building around HIV/AIDS a few years ago? where they both publicly went and got tested together to show how it's no big deal and everyone can and should do it?

It was between games! Won't say anymore! But if you'd watched on TV you'd have seen it, without trying to ie my v oblivious DH mentioned it!

I think William has inherited his granmother's demeanour at times.
Sometimes the Queen looks totally bored/fed up at events even when it's meant to be a jolly occasion.
I'm sure I'd be accused of the same at times.

I’m so confused about William. Things were looking great, beautiful children; happy marriage. Then all these stories about the rift with Harry; the alleged Rose Hanbury thing.

Harry definitely made an attempt to bridge the gap with William after the polo.

I think like Diana; William has a streak of stubbornness with a perceived or actual slight. Unlike her; he doesn’t try to hide it.

I thought K&W looked perfectly fine! I have a RBF :) so know the problem of not smiling at all times, but then it becomes a fake smile and worse!

On the hugs... I’m still against it, for H too. Just can see that becoming a problem in future, in a will-they-won’t-they-hug expectation.

Beyoncé - it was her premiere! Good for her getting those pins out :) and Jay Z’s suit was rather sharp, nice 👍
