Completely underwhelming ‘recycled’ outfit from Kate. Disappointing as her Wimbledon looks are usually some of my favourites. Can’t wait to see what she wears today.

Notmyrealname855 · 14/07/2019 11:23

Ooh yeah forgotten she’d be there today! I’m stuck watching the cricket Sad

Honeysuckleandroses · 14/07/2019 11:28

i remember hearing something or reading something a while ago that someone who was at an event where the Queen was doing a walkabout asked a question of the Queen. She completely froze them out saying something like 'one doesn't ask questions' in a very direct way. I went off the Queen a bit I must admit after that. It makes a mockery of the whole 'meeting people' business. It is really about being seen but not being questioned or in any way being on a level with the minions.

AhoyDelBoy · 14/07/2019 11:39

goes into dreamy reverie about Pippas lush life of endless privilege and help and free time

Yeppp, sigh.

Laiste · 14/07/2019 11:40

@Honeysuckleandroses i agree actually. Some folk are rich and can buy what the want, some are poor and struggle, i get that. I follow these threads happily and look at the clothes, but sometimes, just sometimes, there's moments of complete clarity and angriness when i think - hang on, WFT is this rubbish?? Bowing? Special names? Her highness, Not 'allowed' to say certain perfectly normal things to them??

PCohle · 14/07/2019 11:44

People clearly do ask the Royals questions all the time though. Didn't we find out when MM was due because someone in a crowd asked her etc?

SemperIdem · 14/07/2019 11:48

By not asking questions - is it questions of a certain nature?

I mean - saying “it’s a lovely day isn’t it?” would surely not elicit the Queenly version of “fuck off you peasant”?

Labrodite · 14/07/2019 12:10

I love both of those polka dot dresses, notmyrealname 😍 Meghan actually wore a halter neck for her evening wedding dress, didn’t she, so I could see her in that John Lewis one you picked for Kate.

beanaseireann · 14/07/2019 12:18

Notmyrealname
I love the second dress- white with flowers. Either DOC or DOS could wear it.

noodlenosefraggle · 14/07/2019 12:20

, am not surprised at the suspicions on timed pap-shots of the York girls. It's a very PR thing to do, and works well - give the people what they want! Andrew has been out a lot doing RF work over the past year, and thanks to instagram and twitter we have seen a lot more of it. It's sound tactica.
The Times are openly discussing the Epstein allegations and focusing quite a lot on PA. I don't doubt that he will be protected at all costs though, they will throw the lot of them under the bus-affairs, marriages, break ups, clapping too loudly, whatever they can to protect Andrew. They would never recover if the allegations were true and they all work for the sole purpose of keeping the monarchy alive at all costs.

AhoyDelBoy · 14/07/2019 12:46

Loving Kate in the powder blue 😍

AhoyDelBoy · 14/07/2019 12:47

Much better than the green dress

queenofarles · 14/07/2019 12:48

Kate is wearing a really pretty blue dress, but ruined it with hideous Shoes .

PCohle · 14/07/2019 12:50

I think it's a bit "little girl-y", but I do prefer it to yesterday's.

Labrodite · 14/07/2019 12:54

Lovely dress! like the shoes from the front but don’t love the heel.

I like today’s dress and yesterday’s hair. I’d love to know what she (and Kim Murray) does to get their lovely hair. I’ve got thick hair which in theory should be as bouncy as theirs but hairdressers have never managed to get the same swish that they both have. Extensions? Some other magic?

Labrodite · 14/07/2019 12:55

The dress is Emilia Wickstead

Notmyrealname855 · 14/07/2019 12:56

Extension magic! Though seeing pics of kate as a student, she always had great hair.

Love the colour and mostly the cut... looks tight under the arms though. Id be getting sweat patches in 3,2,1...

UrsulaPandress · 14/07/2019 12:57

Nice frock. Much better than yesterday’s.

EleanorReally · 14/07/2019 12:57

how do you people know her dresses?

Is William texting Shock

BertrandRussell · 14/07/2019 12:58

I honestly don’t understand why she wears Emelia Wickstead- they are always so dull and matronly.

Labrodite · 14/07/2019 12:59

The DM knew her dress, Eleanor, but I don’t know how they know so fast! Do royal staff let them know?

Labrodite · 14/07/2019 13:02

Just read that the dress I sent custom so hasn’t to be either royal staff or the designer that tell the press.

Labrodite · 14/07/2019 13:03

*is!

BertrandRussell · 14/07/2019 13:04

Those plain coloured dresses that look as if they’d are made out of crimplene are always Emelia Wickstead. She’s got hundreds of them.
