Help me find a v relaxed dress to get married in( City Hall NYC)I’m now desperate

By relaxed I mean verging on Converse and denim jacket relaxed. I’m 50 and been with dp for many many years. Don’t want any fuss or bother and will have teens in tow. I’m a size 14. No idea what to wear.😩

Are you normally based in NYC or traveling?

And what colours do you like/usually wear?

Travelling, there for a month. Not going to be a white wedding or formal. I fancy a floral dress, denim jacket and converse kind of thing but maybe a bit smarter. Like greens and charcoal generally. I know it’s impossible.

Are you sure you want to be as casual as trainers? Wouldn't you normally wear something smarter for an occasion, or even a nice meal out? What I mean is: are you trying too hard to be laid-back about it, and going too far the other way which is why it's difficult for you to find something?

Karen Millen has some nice dresses that they class as for wedding guests. They're pretty and not stuffy.

Converse type thing my normal style but yes think I could upgrade a bit for this but not Uber smart. We’re just turning up doing it then having a picnic in Central Park, no guests or anything. Just 3 surly teens.😂

End of July so it will be roasting. Starting to wish we’d done this 30 years ago, can see the benefits of marrying young- you can wear anything.

Quite like the Bennet one but too expensive, quite like the last green dress but maybe too loud, maybe plain would be better.😩

I loved the Jigsaw dress but it wasn’t good in a 14 over my tum. Have tried it on 3 Times.Did wonder about trying a 16.

What do you think about this?

I got married in that Lindy Bop Ophelia dress pictured above. Just FYI it’s not that cream colour it looks in the pic it’s more of a light gold/yellow/deep champagne colour

I like all of these, especially the last one, which may blow the budget. All lovely dresses that imo would look good with converse and a denim jacket.
