But you'd need enough material in it to go out at the bust and hips if you were altering off the peg. dusts off grade A textiles gcse so they would be better off having something made to measure.

Anyone else seen the photos of Meghan's redesigned engagement ring? It's on a different band, thinner with pave diamonds.....I thought it was just me when I saw a photo the other day, but apparently it's definitely different to the original plain gold band. I'd link if I knew how

What do they wear off duty? Do we ever see pap shots of them? Would be interesting to see if it carries through to their "personal" lives.

It is lovely and more traditional the first way imho but it is her ring she has to wear it .

Yes I prefer it the original way. Shame it will be used as another stick to beat her with.

I'm surprised that she's changed the design that Harry had made for her, as he had obviously put a lot of thought in to it.

She's kept the 3 main diamonds, I think the only change is the pave band. And those diamonds may well have come from Diana's collection too.

Thanks Mrs I can't get my head round doing links! There was an article over the weekend about her jewellery which (for the DM) was surprisingly balanced as it was focusing on the cheaper end of her collection as well as the mega expensive end.

Diamond bands are a lot trickier to resize so maybe that was the original design all along but Harry went for a gold band at first until after the wedding - lots of people lose weight before a wedding.

Meghan always wears very delicate jewellery- maybe the gold band was too chunky for her?

Her ring her choice but as diamonds are one of the strongest substances on Earth & I presume Meghan's wedding ring is 22ct Gold, then won't the diamonds cause more wear & tear when/if they catch/rub on the wedding ring band?
My engagement ring an emerald surrounded by diamonds on a 9ct gold ring & my wedding ring is 22ct Gold (family heirloom) & I was told I may get a little bit more wear & tear on my wedding ring as my engagement ring gold is stronger than my wedding ring gold.

Totally agree about Pippa's dress! It wasn't particularly bum enhancing at all was it, just a pretty, simple dress. All the talk of her bum at the time was v odd.

The central stone looks very different to me - has it been changed ? It now looks like an emerald cut diamond rather than a cushion cut.

The ring was much nicer before. It looks odd now.

For mine, Sophie's blue jumpsuit was the worst, closely followed by Princess Eugenie's weird ass double-nipple Calvin Klein on day 1.

In the before pic the big central diamond seems to be set in quite a chunky setting of silver coloured metal (platinum probably). In my opinion that silvery setting looks a bit at odds with the gold band it's sitting on. Maybe she had the gold band covered in little diamonds to bring it together more as a whole silvery/diamondy effect? See second pic.

Actually, looking again i think the big diamond is in a different setting in the after pic. The little balls on the corners have gone and it looks like a normal claw type setting. Also it seems to be sitting lower down on a level with the little stones.

The new design is pretty and modern. Doesn't look like a lifelong piece now though.

Perhaps Harry suggested the changes to Meghan's ring so it matches her new eternity ring?
