I don't know why I feel a bit guilty towards Camilla about posting Diana & Charles engagement photo.
So here's a photo of Camilla & Charles.
I actually think if Camilla has been a bloke she'd have been the perfect husband for Diana as in the fact Camilla would would let her take centre stage, mother her & cherish her.

Charles looked genuinely happy on his second wedding day.

I wonder why Anne and Zara both chose to marry in Scotland?

Anne had to marry in Scotland because she couldn’t marry in the Church of England because she was divorced. Or something like that.

I think with the foundation it was always going to go awry with a very vocal 4th person bearing in mind that H&M weren’t even married at the time of the interview. I don’t think she understood the pecking order. And for that the blame lies completely at Harry’s door. Poor woman - talk about a baptism of fire!

Yes, Anne was married in Scotland because she was divorced, and the Church of Scotland had no bar to marrying divorced persons as the CofE did. I'm not sure why Zara chose to be married in the Church of Scotland.

Also QMum looked pissed merry :D Margaret looks impressive & Andrew chippy. I like HM in that dark green - strange seeing her as a middle aged woman - in my mind she went from young 1950s glamorous to white haired most senior monarch globally & I missed the middle years.

How old are Charles and Camilla in that photo?

Can I ask- is there a different interview? Because in the one I saw, she answered questions she was asked, and joined in the conversation where appropriate. I honestly can’t see what she did wrong.

I like that wedding video because of all the little vignettes- Andrew getting impatient with the QM because she was trying to get out of the car without waiting for her step. Her Maj going to talk to the school children about their show at the end. Lots of little things.

Didn't Zara book her wedding at a place and time another couple had already reserved and the other couple had to reschedule their wedding? Or did I dream that?

Zara held her Pre-wedding reception on The Britannia and HMQ wouldn’t attend.

She put her own views forward Bertrand about women’s voices. She wasn’t there to discuss that. IMO.

Perhaps you and I watched a different interview to everyone else @BertrandRussell! As you say, she answered the questions she was asked and it wasn't like she interrupted everyone else! Meghan is a very confident speaker and for some reason that's seen as a bad thing 🤷🏻‍♀️

She was asked a question about her work on women's issues and gave an answer.

That was a very interesting video of Anne’s second wedding. Very no nonsense!

I should rewatch it I think as I seem to remember at the time thinking that won’t go down well! But I may be misremembering.

I’ve said it before (previous names) & I’ll say it again - I don’t feel that Harry explained to her properly about what being a member of the RF entailed. I don’t blame him for that, they are very much in love & he probably didn’t want to scare her off. If she’d had any sense she’d have run a mile - but then Kate had years of training & still took the job. I know I couldn’t do it.

Why are issues like education for girls and gender equality still seen as controversial though?

From what I remember I think they were there to talk about mental health not gender equality- happy to be corrected though. Nothing wrong with it or controversial IMO just not what they were there for?

I thought they were there to discuss the Foundation in general? But given she was asked about it, she could hardly refuse to answer!

Today is the last day of Ascot isn't it? I wonder if we'll see the Cambridges and the York sisters again? Or, as it's a weekend, maybe even the Sussexes?
